Which is why DDF offers designers opportunities, support, publicity and a platform. DDF organises Dutch Design Week and Dutch Design Awards, but is active far beyond the Netherlands. Throughout the year they organise debates, lectures, exhibitions and meet-ups. Putting the best and most promising designers in the spotlights, and introducing their ideas and designs to the world.

| PROGRAMME PREVIEW | WHAT IF LAB
What if Lab is a platform where Dutch Design Foundation brings together designers and clients to work on challenging questions by co-designing solutions in a specially composed program. At the end of a work period, the client and designers present a prototype that will be developed towards the market. In this way, DDF hopes to bring together clients and designers for lasting collaborations with impact on the world of tomorrow. This year's What if Lab projects, with clients as NS, Provincie Noord-Brabant and VNG - Vereniging van Nederlandse Gemeenten, will be on show at Dutch Design Week 2018, 20-28 October.

This weekend, Leonne Cuppen (Yksi Expo) and Daria Biryukova opened the exhibition 'Clean Revolution | Dutch design for a better world' for the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco, US. The exhibition showcases sustainable fashion and design made from reused and recycled products.

The first jury meeting for the design challenge Binnenhof InsideOut has been held! This challenge, an initiative by FaberExposize, asks designers to invent creative concepts for the public space in and around Het Binnenhof for the renovation in 2020. The winners will be announced during and their designs wil be shown in an exhibition.
