Smart mobility concerns clean, efficient and intelligent surface transport systems for people and freight in a network of transportation infrastructures, characterized by continuous direct information exchange and supported by mobility and traffic modeling. To ensure continuation of individual and collective mobility in the coming decades, TU/e offers a unique single-campus combination of specific (research) capabilities, concerning automotive technology, intelligent transport systems, freight transport and logistics, and mobility and traffic.
