The Cleantech Challenge originated in London in 2009 as a student competition designed to nurture innovative ideas. The competition process propels those ideas to a level where the concept can start to attract funding. Sophie Janssen is a venture capital investor at Graduate Entrepreneurs Pre-seed fund with a background in International Business Administration at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. She focuses her time on investing in early-stage startups and is responsible for the founder programs and partners at Graduate Entrepreneur.

This week marks the Global CleanTech Challenge Finals!
In the past few weeks team Flux, the winners of this years Dutch CTC, has been working hard to develope their idea further, supported by the coaches Leon Pulles and Iva Tsvetkova.

Exciting times in the CleanTech Challenge!
After last weeks semi-finals, six teams progress to the final. However, not before they receive a pitching workshop from Jelmer Smits from PresentThing.
Tomorrow the participants will learn what it takes to deliver a convincing pitch to sell their idea!
