𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝘇𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲! Vooruitlopend op het BredaPhoto Festival dat dit jaar plaatsvindt, delen we graag het nieuws dat de vitrines in de hal van station Breda in 2026 een podium bieden aan jong fotografisch talent. In deze bijzondere projectruimte krijgen zes recent afgestudeerde kunstenaars van verschillende kunstacademies in Nederland de kans om hun werk te tonen. Vanaf woensdag 5 februari is het podium voor Jón Helgi Pálmason en Lindsey Soetodrono. 🤍

onderzoekt in haar project ‘Putune Jaji: Odjo Lali Aku’ (Kleinkinderen van lotgenoten: Vergeet mij niet) haar Javaans-Surinaamse familiegeschiedenis en de doorwerking van intergenerationeel trauma, waarbij ze via beeld, installatie en performance verborgen geschiedenissen zichtbaar maakt.

neemt je in ‘Yzta Annesið’ (Het Verste Noorden) mee naar het noordoosten van IJsland, waar hij in een persoonlijk fotografisch traject landschap, herinnering en identiteit met elkaar verweeft.

In the lead-up to the BredaPhoto Festival taking place this year, we are pleased to share that the display cases in the main hall of Breda Station will provide a platform for emerging photographic talent throughout 2026. In this unique project space, six recently graduated artists from various art academies across the Netherlands are given the opportunity to present their work. From Wednesday 5 February onwards, the stage is set for Jón Helgi Pálmason and Lindsey Soetodrono. 🤍

📅 The first exhibition period runs from 5 February to 10 May
