The first Pokémon video games, Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, were originally released in Japan on 27 February 1996, launching an entertainment franchise loved by Trainers worldwide. Since then, 27 February has been known as Pokémon Day, a time to come together and celebrate all things Pokémon!

Celebrate Pokémon Day with us during 2 full days of casual play, trading, and in-store activities. Whether you’re a Trainer, Collector, or just here for the vibe, this event is for you.

On Friday 27-02-2026 with every in-store Pokémon purchase on 27-02-2026 you will receive a Pokémon Day Promo Card (1x per person, as long as stock lasts, from 12:00-17:00).
On Saturday 28-02-2026 we will host the following events:

-Pokémon Paint & Color station with prizes up for grabs (prize support TBA)
-Pokémon Treasure Hunt inside the store, complete the hunt to enter a mystery prize raffle

Have you always wanted to learn a Trading Card Game but don’t know where to start? Then this GamerzParadize TCG Day is exactly what you’re looking for! 

TCG Demo Events: Have you always wanted to learn one of the following games? Then today is the perfect day! For all participating games*, we have asked a player from our community to explain the game to new players. You don’t need anything at all, just a good mood. We have everything you need to learn the games, just drop by!

Have you always wanted to learn a Trading Card Game but don’t know where to start? Do you already have a large card collection and want to get rid of your duplicate cards? Then this GamerzParadize TCG Day is exactly what you’re looking for!

To start the new year off right, we are hosting a fun day where everyone is welcome to join in on all TCG activities. What can you do on this day?

TCG Demo Events: Have you always wanted to learn one of the following games? Then today is the perfect day! For all participating games*, we have asked a player from our community to explain the game to new players. You don’t need anything at all—just a good mood. We have everything you need to learn the games!

TCG Trade Day: Do you have duplicate cards, or are you looking for specific cards? Bring your binder and trade with others throughout the day! You might find that one card you’ve been looking for, or pass your duplicates on to someone who still needs them.

Pokémon Drawing Contest: You are welcome to participate in the Pokémon Drawing Contest on this day! Choose a fun Pokémon coloring page and color it as beautifully, creatively, and playfully as possible, or draw something on a blank sheet of paper. Of course, we have a fun prize for the winner! We will also provide everything needed for the drawing contest in the store, so you don’t have to bring anything yourself.

Altijd al een Trading Card Game willen leren, maar weet je niet waar je moet beginnen? Heb je al heel veel kaarten in je collectie en wil je je dubbele kaarten kwijt? Dan is deze GamerzParadize TCG Dag alles wat je zoekt!

Om het nieuwe jaar goed te beginnen hosten wij een leuke dag waar iedereen welkom is om deel te nemen aan alle TCG activiteiten. Wat kun je allemaal doen op deze dag?

TCG Demo Events: heb je altijd al een van de volgende games willen leren, dan is vandaag de perfecte dag! Wij hebben voor alle aanwezige games* een speler uit onze community gevraagd of ze het spel uit willen leggen aan nieuwe spelers! Je hebt helemaal niks nodig, behalve goede zin. Wij hebben alles in huis om jullie de spellen te leren!

TCG Ruildag: Heb je kaarten dubbel, of ben je op zoek naar specifieke kaarten? Neem je binder mee en ruil met anderen zolang de dag duurt! Misschien vind je net die ene kaart die je nog nodig hebt, of kun je je dubbele kaarten kwijt aan iemand die ze nog nodig heeft!

Pokémon Tekenwedstrijd: Je bent op deze dag welkom om mee te doen aan de Pokémon Tekenwedstrijd! Kies een leuke Pokémon kleurplaat uit en kleur deze zo mooi, leuk en creatief mogelijk in, of teken iets op een leeg vel papier. Uiteraard hebben we voor de winnaar een leuke prijs! Voor de tekenwedstrijd hebben wij ook alles in de winkel, zodat je niks mee hoeft te nemen!
