This Very Best Of brings together iconic tracks from Jack Green’s five albums released between 1980 and 2024, and celebrates in the finest possible way the anniversary of his passing on April 18, 2024.

Exclusive photos provided by his widow, Jackie, along with the complete lyrics, enhance the booklet.

In addition, two previously unreleased tracks from the Humanesque era are included as bonus tracks, along with another song never before released on CD.

A guitarist for legendary bands such as T. Rex, The Pretty Things, and Rainbow, Jack Green left his mark on music history with his unique talent and unmistakable style.

In 1980, his album Humanesque achieved great success in Canada, particularly in Alberta, driven by standout tracks such as So Much, Murder, and This Is Japan. His voice and captivating songwriting could have propelled him to the ranks of the biggest stars, but Green always preferred to stay true to himself, away from the spotlight.

Born in Glasgow in 1951, he developed a passion for music at an early age. He collaborated with iconic figures of rock, including Paul McCartney, and joined T. Rex thanks to Marc Bolan. Despite a rich career spanning international tours and musical projects, he chose a simpler life, sharing his passion as a guitar teacher.

An authentic artist with an inspiring journey, who managed to move audiences without ever giving in to the demands of the star system.

Assault & Battery is the second studio album by Australian hard rock band Rose Tattoo and was released in 1981. Like the first album it was produced by the Vanda & Young team, who are most known for producing AC/DC's classic 70s albums).

Rose Tattoo (or The Tatts, as they;'re affectionately called) play peerless, street-level heavy blues with the emphasis on slide guitar and strident lyric statements.

After years of touring in Australia, Europe and America opening up for acts like ZZ Top and Aerosmith, the band started writing/recording their second studio album, Assault & Battery.

The album is noted for its "hard as nails," no-prisoners approach, described as a mix of AC/DC's power-chord style with a faster, punk-infused intensity.

Rose Tattoo is the debut self-titled album by Australian hard rock band Rose Tattoo and was released in 1978. It was produced by the famous Vanda & Young team who are most known for their work with AC/DC.

After exstensive touring, "Rock n' Roll Outlaw" started to chart in Europe, peaking at No. 2 in France, No. 5 in Germany and No. 60 in UK.

The song "Nice Boys" was covered by Guns N' Roses in 1986 on their Live ?!*@ Like a Su***de EP and it was later re-released on their 1988 EP G N' R Lies. Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin have both claimed that Rose Tattoo changed their lives and confirmed to them that their own future was in rock 'n' roll. "Nice Boys" was also covered by punk band Nashville Pussy.Rose Tattoo is available as a limited numbered edition of 1500 copies on black/white swirl vinyl.
