Michael Bailey-Gates’ work invites us into a space where identity, gender, and sexuality are fluid — never static, never fixed.

In Subtitle (4) (2023), the artist continues their exploration of the body as both vulnerable and powerful. Within Bailey-Gates’ world, nudity is not exposure for judgment, but a declaration of agency — a poised presence in a society that often misunderstands what it cannot define.

Printed as an archival pigment print on rag baryta paper and presented in a wooden frame with museum glass, this edition embodies the intimacy, openness, and quiet strength that runs through Bailey-Gates’ practice.

Subtitle (4) is available in an edition of 5 plus 1 artist’s proof.
