Warning, long sobby story ahead, and an open love letter:

See that dude sitting there with his cuddle Santa? Yeah that's me, as a director in his most beloved piece. And sometimes it's still very unreal to me. I know now more than ever that this is what I want to do, but also it's been the biggest challenge of my career, because I had to learn so much, and I have difficulties with failing. a lot. But I failed, and I tried to learn from it, and I failed again. But in the end, the wonderful people in this production had patience with me, and gave me the opportunity to learn.

First and foremost: who was so bold to actually invite me into this adventure. I've learned so much about diplomacy, communication, patience, and I'm so impressed by your ability to trust the process so much, let go, and allowing me to be so honest and open with you. Thank you.

And then of course .digiulio who came in to do the wonderful choreographies, and was always asking the right questions, and being the perfectionist that I absolutely adore, what a woman, what a powerhouse.

Also thank you to who stuck with me through my impatient endless questions and requests. Let's make this a first production to remember!

This piece is an incredible piece of teamwork. All the people at gave it their all and more to bring this piece to life, it's been incredible and humbling to see all those wheels in motion.

And then, this cast. It's been a dream to work with, because they're all so commited, so professional, so patient and SO GOOD! I thank you all for trusting in me.

RENT WEEK 3

Ich kann noch immer kaum glauben, dass ich zusammen mit RENT inszenieren darf! Und nicht zu vergessen: die wunderbare .digiulio als Choreographin! Es macht so einen riesigen Spaß mit diesen fantastischen Menschen. Der zweite Akt ist unterwegs!

Some days I gotta pinch myself that I'm actually directing RENT together with ! And also with the lovely .digiulio as choreographer of course! It's been a incredible ride so far with these amazing people! The second act is almost done...

PREMIERE JEKYLL & HYDE

Today is the premiere of Jekyll and Hyde in ! With just one week of rehearsals, it has been incredibly stressful, but such a wonderful experience to feel so supported by .glitz and , without them this wouldn't have been possible. I can't wait to throw my interpretation out there, even though it's all very fresh and scary!

A big thank you also for the entire cast who have been so supportive and available for the rehearsals!

Let's make it one to remember.

Heute ist die Premiere von Jekyll & Hyde am ! Nur eine Woche Probenzeit, unglaublich stressig, aber gleichzeitig eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Ich habe mich so getragen gefühlt von .glitz und . Ohne euch wäre das nicht möglich gewesen.

Ich kann es kaum erwarten, meine Interpretation auf die Bühne zu bringen, auch wenn alles noch sehr frisch und ein bisschen furchteinflößend ist.

Ein riesiges Dankeschön auch an das gesamte Ensemble, das so unterstützend war und für die Proben immer zur Verfügung stand.

Lasst uns daraus einen unvergesslichen Abend machen.
