Something I am reading... EMOTIONAL
GRIT 8 Steps to Master Your Emotions,
Transform Your Thoughts, and
Change Your World...
In creating a new framework to challenge your beliefs and way of thinking, this is a means to harbor the thoughts, ideas and
perspectives. We all need to reflect on inclusion, belonging, and bringing back the connectedness of humanity.
This is why it’s so important for you, individually, to understand the gravity
of the turning point in the changing world of today.
Emotional ownership, which is simply being consciously aware of how you are showing up in the world every single day to those around you.
It begins with going within your individual shell and practicing a deeper understanding of:
How it can affect my decision-making?
What insecurities do I have that I use a mask to protect at times, since I am human?
Once aware, how can I be more empathetic to others and accept their perspective of the reasoning behind their actions?
How can I understand and practice non-judgement in the dynamics of others with their own protective mechanisms?
How can I be an example for others and understand to utilize my ego for good?
This is a great assessment tool that you can share and use as a framework and as a radar. In addition ask yourself:
Do you get offended? (If so, when, why, and how?)
Do you always need to win?
Do you constantly need to be right? (Why?)
Do you find yourself wanting to constantly be the best or the greatest?
Do you find yourself always needing more; are you never satisfied?
Do you need to identify yourself based on what you’ve done? (Do you need to showcase your accolades, boast about your degrees, and accomplishments)
Do you worry about your reputation constantly, and are you defined by it?
Do you always need to have the last word?

For Jon Bowers, who runs a training facility for professional delivery drivers, the stakes are high -- 100 people in the US die every day in car accidents -- and it's perfection, or "a willingness to do w...

People are 31% more creative when putting on a smile and having a positive mind-set.
When on the phone, people just want to know how you are going to help them.
Find or prep yourself within 10sec the reason WHY. Try to understand what and how THEY SEE IT.
Getting a YES is a trap and wrong. Remember there are three types of yes, commitment, confirmation and counterfeit. We mostly get the last one.
You can always make mistakes, but learn from it.
Always get out of for every negotiation the respect and feeling yeah I want to deal with you again.
