Dating and relating is all about getting to know new people and evaluating if you want to spend more time together. Open-Minded Speed Dating invites you into a playful and authentic way of connecting: skipping small talk with not so mono others.

This Sunday on April 6th is facilitated by Coen Aerts, inspired by Burning Man events, Radical Honesty, and Non-Violent Communication. Through a mix of verbal and non-verbal exercises, you’ll discover who is in front of you in a light and engaging way.

This event is for you if:
You like to play experimental games using words, sounds, touch, smell and sight with people you don't know.
Are curious to meet open minded people that want to meet others in connection in the here and now, letting go of the outcome.
You like consent, meaningful interactions and stepping into the unknown.
You don't like conventional speeddating and spending time on / paying for dating apps.

As promised we like to share more about the facilitators at Intimate Encounters ∞. For those who watched our video in the event discussion board this might be old news ánd it wants to be posted anyway because only few actually watched that video + Oz made an effort to write about himself :):

Hellooooo, my Name is Oskar Oz Bechtold maybe you’ve met me as DBSM - DBSM - Dem Bambi Sei Mudder which is my artsy alter ego.

My passion is not only in creating amazing audio-visual and multi-sensory Art installations but also the arts of sensuality and s*xuality.

Growing up in, a world with good and bad, monogamy, expectations, no real conversation about sensuality, boundaries, or even s*x, and a strict script of how life should be lived, heteronormativity, etc. I always wondered why I don’t fit in. It took me a lot of strength, willpower and some amazing role models and mentors to break out of that world, to leave my comfort zone.

So I began trying to create a better world, for me, but also for everyone who would like to join. I started doing things others would comment with “You can’t do that” or “This is wrong”. And guess what, my life became better, more fulfilling, more juicy, more crazy. I don’t regret anything and I’m glad I was brave enough to go through these steps. I also started saying what society wouldn’t say, educating about what society wouldn't teach. I started organising events, society would not provide, I started believing in what society taught me to be ashamed of. Doing so, I became an inspiration and mentor for other people who wanted to leave the default world.

Today I am at home in the poly scene, the burning man scene, and the s*x-positive community.
Being a DJ and Light Artist, I wanted to play at a party that would not only invite dancing, but would allow people to encounter each other, without fear. My favourite party would be a party where everybody can kiss with everybody on the dance floor and everyone feels safe doing so. It didn’t exist. This is when I started with “Dancen und Schmusen!” (Translates to “Dansen en Knuffelen!” and, even better, “Dansen en Smoochen!”) a s*x-positive Techno party.

It took me a lot of courage to start that. Going slow in the beginning to be able to grow at a comfortable rate proved to be the right decision. It has now become an ecstatic feast of life and sensuality, people keep on asking when the next one is happening.
But creating and holding space at parties was not enough. I wanted to contribute to a better, safer world for everyone. So I started diving more into anti-s*xist awareness, consent culture, did the Sensual Arts Facilitator Training at https://www.sensualarts.school/, got trained by s*xismfreenight.eu, and participated in workshops by the https://www.consent.academy.

Having contributed to Intimate Revolution, Sexolution, Conscious Play Temples, Ta***ic Arts Retreats, Sextalks and others, I am very proud to be back in Amsterdam to facilitate at the Intimate Encounters ∞, which I share a lot of values with.

At the five senses ritual, we will dive into our sensuality, into receiving and giving. We will give ourselves permission to sense, to experience and to enjoy our bodies with our bodies. While this is not a s*xual activity itself, it does open up our perception to receiving with all our senses. It led me to being able to enjoy more things on many more levels, but it also helped me juice up my (s*x-) life. Later on we will dance together, we will shake our bodies, we will be ecstatic and we might kiss each other when Dancen und Schmusen! meets I am s*xuality: “Dansen en Smooching!” Looking forward to an intense and awesome time with you

The Polarity Play workshop at Intimate Encounters will be hosted by Ava and Amanda. A few days ago you could read more about Amanda, in this post we'd like to introduce Ava to you.

Ava Tamar is an Intimacy coach and Ta***ic Bodyworker. She has studied at the International School of the Temple Arts (ISTA). Her work is a combination of coaching, ceremony & rituals, visualisations, mindset and Ta**ra.

She believes in raw honesty and real intimacy. Besides her extensive training at ISTA, she also followed several courses and attended Ta**ra Festivals & workshops all over the world. Together with her partner Amanda Biccum she teaches Feminine Embodiment & Ta**ra workshops and retreats.

As a Ta***ica she has been working and guiding clients into experiencing more pleasure for the last 5 years; showing them how to upgrade their s*x & love life AND helping them become Multi Or****ic. Her mission in life: supporting you to release shame & guilt around s*xuality and to introduce 'the sacredness'.

The tools she uses are a mix of different massage techniques, energy work, sounding, breath work, movement and emotional release tools. She reminds you that it is safe to be your real and raw self, to live your authentic truth. Get ready for a deep dive. You are so welcome with everything that you are!

I make myself happy noticing a vibrant enthusiasm around the Intimate Encounters ∞ event. New people signing up, inspirational conversations and so on. I'd like to believe that a lot of people realised in the past two years that intimacy and sharing that with others is something valuable, a basic need even. Apparently one only realises things when they're in scarcity.

For those new faces to this platform I'd like to reintroduce myself. I hope having an idea about who's behind the Iams*xuality platform makes it more welcoming.

My name is Coen. I praise myself fortunate with a male body, healthy condition and with being aware of my emotions - most of the time. Playing with people is my main passion in life. Often I do this as a performer for Le Directeur Entertainment and Studio Nepco, sometimes as what I think to be is myself. Playfulness and s3xuality are closely related and often I mix them into the characters that I perform. This brought me into the world of fe**sh first and later in the realms of ta**ra via Touch&Play at Nowhere festival.

Beside my theatrical activities I finished an MA-History degree at UvA studying st******se in Amsterdam. After that I worked a few years as an editor for the Dutch television program Sp***en & Slikken. It felt valuable and somewhat subversive to show people at home the variety in s*xual needs and desires out there.

More and more I craved for a place in my hometown where I felt enticed to explore my own s3xuality. Burns are often too uncomfy for the princess inside me to get wett. In addition ta**ra events I often judge too swami bami for me and fe**sh too rough, stinky and out of tune - music wise too. Don't get me wrong; I can appreciate these places for other needs in me, I just don't really manage to turn myself on in them.

A place that both aesthetically and philosophically did lubricate me was TENCLUB. I was invited to reshape the Iams*xuality platform and received a lot of help. Event after event came into being and Intimate Encounters was one of those babies. I'm really happy that more and more support is coming in, to co-parent these journeys.

In the past six years I have been experimenting with non-monogamy in different ways. Also I did a six month abstinence from s*x, alcohol and drugs that was quite interesting. I managed to think myself off without touching and enjoyed myself doing that in unconventional places like the train, aeroplane and while meditating during a Vipassana retreat. Nobody noticed and I made myself feel really proud and tranrish.. And judged myself at the same time for being pervy and doing the opposite of what I was there for.

Anyhow I wish anyone more life experience and meaningful connections.

Hello, this is Kamran. I consider myself as a Pans3xual. I have been fascinated with a couple of topics in life. S3xuality, human body and nudity are some to mention. A few years ago I noticed I knew so little about these topics. I was also really afraid to learn more, so I started with small steps to enter Ta**ra workshops, s3x positive events, and connection events.
At the same time discovering my relationships. I have practiced ethical non monogamy, monogamy and celibacy. How to communicate fears, desires and boundaries. Discovering my boundaries. Dive deeper in archetypes that I am living with. During this time I have found peace with my body shape and ultimately love me more than ever.
I also got a chance to meet a woman inside me and make peace with my masculinity. Everything is still processing and it is such a healing that I can recommend to others too. I learn how to be comfortable with feeling uncomfortable and speaking my truth.
This progress helps me in everyday life. It's amazing to be in touch with different sides of me.
It has been such a transformational space for me that I dedicate part of my life to co create spaces that other humans can come and feel safer to explore their desires, boundaries and fears.
I believe that s3xuality is a doorway to understanding intimacy and connecting with oneself therefore with the divine. I believe that there is so much taboo around this. I have an idea that all we want is to love and to be loved and intimacy is a form of that longing. In my world rituals, touch and playfulness are the components of my practices. To expand the definition of touch to be a delivery mechanism for healing attention

Sensuality is a big part of the game. To me sensuality is to be in touch with aromas, music, taste, ambient and touches are all important. How can we include all senses in our experiences and feel the full spectrum. Intimacy is when hearts resonate together. This is what I call magic.

Part of my practice is also inclusion of all. I like to invite genders and racial equality by acknowledging the existence of all in the spaces that I enter.

I believe that Intimate Encounters ∞ is a threshold for curious souls to discover. I would like to invite you to join us in intimate encounters on 5th November in Amsterdam. We will have wonderful beings who host various workshops Luzi Pods, Amanda Biccum, Oskar Oz Bechtold, Ava Tamar, Karin Bleie. I am so grateful to all of you. Coen Aerts and Nicole Caodie are helping us to create this beautiful day.
