When we started our journey about two years ago, it was clear to all of us at laminim that our main focus would always be the people walking alongside us. Both the audience and the artists have shaped us, and continue to shape us, into a better version of ourselves every day.

Most importantly, over the past years we’ve learned that everything has an end, but every beginning depends solely on ourselves. We’ve learned to laugh, to cry, and to look back with gratitude for all the memories and moments we’ve shared with amazing people and our audience.

One of the most important milestones for us was definitely Cata joining us with Sky Bridge, our first-ever EP released on laminim. We will always be deeply grateful and hold great respect for the support and trust he showed us at the very beginning of our journey. He has been, and will always be, an important member of our family.

That being said, Cata is officially joining us again for his second release on Laminim: Foreign Language, a three-track EP (Claro, The Game, Songwriter) that we believe best captures the essence of our vision, “simple music that moves the body and the spirit.”

Claro’s hypnotic sequence and vocals come together to create a powerful minimal arrangement that represents the solid foundation of Cata’s sound, something he has been carefully shaping for years.

With The Game, the mood shifts: a deep melodic bass and tight percussion symmetrically define the track’s direction, while the vocals follow and drive the rhythm. They effortlessly embed themselves into the listener’s ear and soul, making it a piece you’ll want to return to again and again.

Finally, Songwriter is the perfect way to describe Cata, this is who he truly is and what he does best. Besides all the joy and magic that this day brings to everyone’s lives every year, we at Laminim celebrate an important milestone that brought us all together two years ago on the same day. We could not mark this special occasion better than by releasing a special collaboration with our friend Octave, the owner of Resonance, a two-track EP produced by him exclusively for laminim’s anniversary, called “Day & Night.”

This year, we have reached amazing peaks with the support of our community, and all our accomplishments and credits go to all the artists, collaborators, and every single person who listened to and shared laminim’s sound, breaking boundaries we had never imagined before.

Two years and still counting, the best is yet to come. Thank you for all the support along the way, you were, are, and always will be amazing!

We’re back with another promising rising artist from an exotic destination — here to brighten up our cold winter days and nights and warm us with his sound. Straight from across the Atlantic, it’s a pleasure to welcome Canavezzi, joining us from São Paulo, Brazil.

“Prana” represents a blend of emotion and dedication, a South American dream transposed into musical notes. The artwork was designed by Romanian graphic artist Amalia Mateiu, a talented newcomer to the scene. The release offers a refined combination of balanced, minimalist elements.
