This year we're organizing the first Women's Visibility Awards and AD spoke to us about the urgency of this and why we can't sit back and wait for things to change by themselves. So this is a call to action to companies taking DEI very serious and who want to put a spotlight on their most inspiring women: NOMINATE YOUR WOMEN!

Today is my 50th Birthday!

I struggled with this one for almost the whole year and now that the moment has arrived it actually feels good. I made it. And who knows how many summers I have left so let’s make them good right?

So what have I got to give to you? Because you know I love to pay it forward. Well.. I do love to get together, I know some people think our BrandedU events are just like tea parties but I know the value of them.

When we bring people together we do this purposefully. We know exactly how to create a warm bath so that everyone feels seen and heard and appreciated. Our goal is to lift people up and make them feel so good about themselves that they feel free to do whatever their heart says. Just like we did on Tuesday when we had our annual AmplifyHER conference and oh wow I can’t even tell you how amazing it was. But here’s part of my opening speech:
"It doesn’t mean that there aren’t any challenges, but you don’t have to do it alone. Look around you right now. Look at the diversity of you! There are so many of us. We don’t have to do it alone, we can go to work and make time to get to know each other.”

That’s why name I’ve decided on my 50th b'day to pay it forward and for one week give 50% discount on one for my favorite things: a Rock your Network masterclass and I am doing this for 50 women on the 1st of December.

Yes I know 50% off on my 50 b’day can sound silly but then again Dr. Marcia Goddard told us at AmplifyHER to add some play to our day to increase our well-being, so being silly is me taking care of my wellbeing. And that’s also how we are going to be at the ROCK YOUR NETWORK masterclass on the 1st of December. We're taking the fear out of networking and adding lots of joy.

And we'll only do this once because I only turn 50 once and therefor you will only have 1 week to register.
