We need to dispel the myth or misconception that emotions are uncontrollable because they arise spontaneously. To change some behaviours, the first step is to become aware of our inappropriate emotional habits, and from there to relearn different ones.

What do you want to do with your life?
Ask yourself what is really important to you. Not t⁷o others, unless your priority in life is to please others. This doesn't mean being selfish, just putting your own happiness first. It's not good or bad, it's just what you think is important.
Remember that one of the main obstacles to setting our priorities is the fear of criticism, rejection or anger from others, which can lead us to choose what is socially acceptable rather than what is most important to us.
