NETICS BV – Update Project INDIA Reservoir Dredging Sediment Re-use Dakpathar Barrier

Together with our partners Deltares and IHC MTI, NETICS completed the new design for the dredging and re-use of sediment from the Dakpathar Hydroreservoir INDIA. This project is funded by the Dutch RVO Partners for Water program.
By using geotextile tube elements sediment is beneficially re-used as barrier to prevent future erosion of the banks. Also a sediment trap is designed to prevent future siltation and to give the local community the possibility to legally mine collected sediment.
Over past years our project team executed the sediment analysis, hydrodynamic modelling, contract management, structural design, equipment optimization and planning of the ex*****on phase. By the end of 2019 the project will be finalized. Meantime we will share updates from our project in India!
