🌟 Celebrating Girl Child Day 2025 with JIID! 🌟
On October 11, 2025, Jen Initiative for Integrity and Development (JIID) commemorated Girl Child Day in Sangere Bode, Namtari Ward, Yola South LGA, Adamawa State. This year’s theme was "The Girl I Am, the Change I Lead: Girls on the Front Line of Crisis."
We empowered our young girls through:
✅ Health & Menstrual Hygiene: Conducted awareness campaigns and distributed sanitary products to promote health and dignity.
✅ Digital Empowerment & Leadership: Bridged the digital gender gap and inspired girls to lead and innovate.
✅ Crisis Leadership & Climate Action: Supported girls on the frontlines of crises, building resilience and leadership skills.
✅ Support for Education: Created awareness on the importance of education for the girl child.
✅ GBV Awareness: Educated girls on types of Gender-Based Violence, identifying perpetrators, and encouraging reporting.
Together, we are nurturing the leaders of tomorrow! 💪👩‍🎓
