We say thank you for the total peace that you have brought to Akwa Ibom State.
Going forward we believe that the God who chose and gave you victory in the just concluded election will direct and guide you in actualizing your vision and purpose for AKWA Ibom State.

ON THE EVE OF THE 2019 GENERAL ELECTIONS, FEBRUARY 8TH 2019.

Youths In Akwa Ibom State And Beyond Came Together Under The Umbrella Of AKWA IBOM YOUTH AMBASSADORS (AKIYA), A Non Government and Non Partisan Organization To Hold A Sensitization Conference with the hatch tag :
The Primary Aim of The Conference Was To Preach Love, Oneness, Unity and Peace to the youths of Akwa Ibom State, Rather Than Being Used to Perpetuate Election Violence, Thuggery, Tension And Other Crimes In The Society Which Can Lead To Deaths During and After The elections.
This In turn Will Enhance a Better and More Peaceful Akwa Ibom State of our Dream.

The event also featured talks on Entrepreneurship, Self-development, Youth Participation in Nation Building, Leadership and Self-reliance.
We had many Guests, Artist and Keynote Speakers Including:
The YDP Governorship Candidate (Arc. Otuekong Ezekiel Nyaetok).
The YPP Governorship candidate (Mr Nature Udoh).
The Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria. (Bar. Theodore Williams).
The Director National Orientation Agency. (Mr Enoh Uyoh) and Imaobong Akpan.

“We believe the conference went a long way in curtailing youth involvement in Election Violence as witnessed during the presidential and national Assembly Elections which was very Peaceful with no Casualty.

As we prepare for the Governorship and the State House of Assembly Elections tomorrow Saturday 9th March 2019,
We urge the youths of Akwa Ibom State to continue to conduct themselves in a peaceful way while going on with their civic responsibilities during and after the Elections.
Let us all join hands and build our dear state.
AKWA Ibom is the only state we have.
