The Management and Staff of Advanced Space Technology Applications Laboratory, (ASTAL) Uyo, on 6th December 2022, received a delegation from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nasarawa State ably led by an erudite scholar, the Deputy Vice Chancellor-Professor Haruna Kuje Ayuba. The team were on strategic collaborative visit to the Space laboratory. The team leader, Prof. Haruna Kuje A. was accompanied by the Director Institute of Molecular Diagnosis, Prof. James Makpo; Dean of Studies, Assistant Prof. A. S. Modibbo.

The Executive Director Of ASTAL, Dr. Kenneth Uchua in His remarks appreciated the visitors and applauded their keen interest in venturing into Space Science, averring that the enornomous opportunities and possibilities associated with the technology can not be undermined by any progressive institution/organization. The purpose of the visit was to explore possible areas of collaboration with the Space laboratory geared towards strengthening capacity building, research and development amongst others.
The Deputy Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje in his keynote speech, extolled the virtues of Nasarawa State University and affirmed the fervent commitment of the institution's Chancellor, Governing Council and Management team towards maintaining world-class academic standards.

The Management of ASTAL assured the University of her commitment and readiness to collaborate with the University in the propagation of Space Technology for the benefit of the University community, Nasarawa state and the country at large.

The Management and Staff of Advanced Space Technology Applications Laboratory, (ASTAL) Uyo, on Tuesday 20th September, 2022, received a delegation from the foremost private University in Nigeria, Igbinedion University Okada (IOU), Edo state ably led by an erudite scholar, the Vice chancellor-Professor Lawrence Ezemonye. The team were on a 2-day strategic collaborative visit to the Space laboratory. The team leader, Prof. Ezemonye was accompanied by the Head, Department of Computer Science and Information Technology IOU, Dr. Osaremwinda Omorogiuwa; Head, Technical Team-Mr Emmanuel Salami and the consultant, Dr Abdulkadir Hassan. The Vice Chancellor University of Uyo, Prof. Ndaeyo Nyaudoh was well represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration, Prof. Eno Usoro.

Space Technology Education is a key focus of the Advanced Space Technology Applications Laboratory (ASTAL) Uyo. Inculcating Space Technology into the younger generation is a panacea to raising future Scientists.

ASTAL Uyo, under the headship of Dr. Kenneth Uchua on Wednesday 31st August, 2022, received over a hundred and fifty Primary Schools Pupils and their Instructors from across Akwa Ibom State, who were on an excursion to the Space Laboratory.

The educational visit was championed and sponsored by Edet Amana Foundation (EDAF), a Non-Governmental Organization poised to promote knowledge in science among young people under the Creative Features Initiative. The delegation was led by the Manager EDAF, Mr. Cyril Bieh amongst others. The Vice Chancellor University of Uyo Prof. Nyaudoh Ndaeyo was ably represented by the Dean, Faculty of Engineering Prof. Akin Folarin Alonge II.
