The blood supply of the kidney is the renal artery. The renal artery subdivides to form the segmental artery, which also subdivides to form the arcuate artery that divides to for interlobular artery that is located at corticle medullary junction. The interlobular artery which further gives rise to the renal arterioles that terminate at the near the hilum of the kidney. Renal corpuscle gives rise to network of capillaries called glomerulus.
