How can one make an enemy a friend? It is so difficult to see the benefit in it.

John Maxwell says… “If you repeatedly use your failures as springboards to success, then failure can become your best friend.” Teachability is an attitude, a mindset that says “no matter how much I know (or think I know), I can learn from this situation.”

This kind of thinking can help you turn adversity into advantage. It can make you a winner even during the most difficult circumstances.

Some people never understand that “their attitude towards failure would determine their altitude after failure.” (JM)

“Our ability to learn from mistakes has value not just in business, but in all aspects of life. If you live to learn, then you will really learn to live,” says John Maxwell.

Remember Proverbs 24:16: “Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.” Failing is not final; rising again is proof of strength.

𝟐 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

The Teen-Stars Skill Training 2025 was a huge success! We had over 65 teenagers who were eager to learn and explore. The teenagers gained knowledge and skills. From career guidance, personal hygiene, drug awareness, and s*x education to hands-on training in photography, ICT, makeup, and healthy drinks.

By the end of the program, the outstanding students in each class shared that they had no prior knowledge in those areas but had learned so much and now believe they can achieve more and keep growing, and some wanted mentorship on their career paths and spiritual life.

This training was not just aimed at equipping these teenagers physically but also at helping them morally and spiritually.

We’re grateful to all our passionate facilitators and speakers who poured into these young minds. Special thanks to our supporters and volunteers who made this possible.

Together, we’re catching them young and shaping tomorrow’s stars today!

Hello there,

Last year, by the grace of God, we empowered 65 teenagers; most are currently gaining more knowledge on what they learned. Now, it's yet another edition of the Teen-Stars Skills Training (TeenST) 2025, and truly we can't do it alone.

This year's training is a 2-day, power-packed program designed to equip teenagers with essential vocational and life skills!
Highlights:
• Hands-on training in ICT, photography, make-up, and healthy drinks making.
• Life skills sessions: career decision-making, personal hygiene, s*x education, and more
• Mentorship from professionals
• Community service projects

It is free and open to all young people between the ages of 10 and 19, with a special focus on those from underserved backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow.

The program will take place on August 29-30, 2025, at the Basilica of Divine Grace, Nibo, Awka South, Anambra State.

If you are around Awka South or know any teens around, please join us next month and with them.

It is actually better we catch them young now than to try to repair them as adults.
