Boss Up With BossTohan

My name is Itohan Ihaza but my teamies call me BossTohan. You might be looking at the picture and you’re like ‘ oh wow, she looks beautiful’ . I look at the picture and all i see GROWTH. A whole lot of it.

When I started my business, i was known as Itohan. Itohan didn’t know alot of things. Itohan didn’t have it all figured out. Itohan didn’t feel confident selling creams because of her skin color; in my head ‘everybody wants to be white, who would want to buy cream from a dark skinned person; that’s a limiting belief and i eventually overcame it. I’m a fragrance lover so I focused on selling fragrances alot in the beginning of my business.

As time went by, i started to mediate on the name ‘BOSS’. We say it all the time in our business that you can BE YOUR OWN BOSS but what does it mean???

A boss shows up!
A boss doesn’t give up!
A boss takes responsibility!
A boss doesn’t wait to be told what to do!
A boss is accountable!
A boss is always learning and improving!
A boss doesn’t give excuses!
A boss is an action taker!

Knowing these things, i started to show up as one. And you know what, energy doesn’t lie. Everything started to make sense. I started attracting the right people. My confidence in myself increased. I started learning more, so whenever i had to speak, it was all value. I started to manifest what it means to be a BOSS and today, it’s BOSSTOHAN🙂

I’m led to share this because i know that it’s very easy for us to see someone’s today and think that they’re so good or probably perfect but that’s not true. I wasn’t always like this. I didn’t start out like this.

It’s been alot of LEARNING, UNLEARNING AND RELEARNING that has gotten me here and I’m still on the process. It doesn’t matter how you start. Just come as you are and be ready to learn and grow. The GROWTH won’t happen overnight but trust me, you’ll grow and you’ll keep growing

My name is Itohan Ihaza and i am a beauty and lifestyle entrepreneur. Two years ago, i was a broke and ambitious final year student who was worried for her life after school. I had goals i wanted to accomplish and I didn’t want the regular 9-5 lifestyle. I knew there was more and i wanted more but I didn’t know where and how to get it.

Then i came across a beauty business that offered me the opportunity to look good, make money, have fun and live life on my own terms. Without knowing much about how to run a successful business, i took a decision to get started and was ready to figure it out and learn on the journey.

It wasn’t easy because i had lots of discouragement along the way but i was determined to succeed. On the journey to success, i learnt the power of hardwork. I learnt to show up everyday for my business. I learnt that the old me had to give way for a new me to emerge. I learnt that it would get tough sometimes but those tough times won’t last. I learnt to renew my mind; to believe in myself always and to keep dreaming!

Two years later, from the comfort of my home, i earn in multiple 6 figures monthly, have qualified for local all expense paid trips and I’m living life on my own terms. I lead a team of over 300 young people and my team is growing rapidly because young young people are inspired to believe in themselves and go after their dreams. It feels knowing that i am able to help other young people like myself earn more money and live life on thier own terms.
