THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF ANDONI LGA MEETS WITH THE ANDONI AREA COUNCIL OF TRADITIONAL RULERS:

The Executive Chairman of Andoni Local Government Area, Hon. Lazarus Gogoteh Nteogwuile, today held a crucial meeting with the members of the Andoni Area Council of Traditional Rulers at the Port Harcourt Palace of the Chairman of Council, HRM King Dr. Aaron Miller Ikuru(vii) who also doubles as the Okaan- Ama of Ikuru Town.

The Traditional Rulers through their Chairman also informed the Chairman of the present composition of the Andoni Area Traditional Rulers Council and the role of the Executive Chairman of Council in the appointment of co-opted members of the Traditional Rulers Council.

Furthermore, the Traditional Rulers as well, updated the Executive Chairman on the activities of Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP) as it affects Andoni Local Government Area.

In his reaction, the Chairman enjoined the Royal fathers to ensure peace at their domains.

He also urged them to sustain their support for the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Joseph Fubara.
