I have made the point severally that no Ogoni person has held any position of leadership in this state since it was created and I have been very vocal About it.
I also know how personate my people are about this governorship thing, not judt governorship, about political inclusion and I know that several times people have taken advantage of that passion and the desire of the Ogoni people.
I have been in situations where old men in Ogoni have held my hands and they have cried to say Magnus whatever you can do just to make sure that we see a governor of Ogoni in our life.

The Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association Of Nigeria (PETROAN) has projected a nea-term reduction in domestic gas prices, alongside improved stability in Nigeria's Upstream Petroleum sector, following the appointment of Senator Magnus Ngei Abe as Chiarman of the board of Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC)
In a statement issued on Monday, the association said Abe's leadership comes at a critical time when the regulatory reforms supply-side intervention are beginning to reshape the country's gas market dynamics.
Billy Gillis-Harry, national president of PETROAN, described Abe's appointment as a strategic move that could strengthen policy direction and investor confidence in the upstream segment.
He noted that Abe's prior experience at the legislative and executive arm of Government as well as in the oil and gas industry, positions him to drive reforms that align with the objectives of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA)
