*NOVENA TO MARY UNDOER OF KNOTS*

*DAY 5*

We begin in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.

Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

*ACT OF CONTRITION*

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin.

*REFLECTIONS*
When we struggle and suffer, it is then the Blessed Virgin Mary acts as most mothers do: she wants to help. She helps and obtain healing for us. Our Lady Health of the sick is her tittle.

She wants to bring us closer to Jesus Christ and the Father. Her prayers can do that for us.

*GENERAL INTENTIONS*
Let us pray today for all of those who struggle or suffer with illnesses - be it mental, spiritual, emotional or physical.

Let's pray that they may trust in God's mercy and that Mary will untie their knots.

*Be confident.* Our Mother Mary can untie your knots of sickness

*LET US PRAY*

Queen of Mercy, I entrust to you this knot in my life [mention your request here] and I ask you to give me a heart that is patient until you undo it.

Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for me.

Virgin Mary, Mother of fair love, Mother who never refuses to come to the aid of a child in need, Mother whose hands never cease to serve your beloved children because they are moved by the divine love and immense mercy that exist in your heart, cast your compassionate eyes upon me and see the snarl of knots that exists in my life. You know very well how desperate I am, my pain, and how I am bound by these knots. Mary, Mother to whom God entrusted the undoing of the knots in the lives of his children, I entrust into your hands the ribbon of my life. No one, not even the evil one himself, can take it away from your precious care. In your hands there is no knot that cannot be undone. Powerful Mother, by your grace and intercessory power with Your Son and My Liberator, Jesus, take into your hands today this knot.

[ *Mention your request here* ]

I beg you to undo it for the glory of God, once for all. You are my hope.

O my Lady, you are the only consolation God gives me, the fortification of my feeble strength, the enrichment of my destitution, and, with Christ, the freedom from my chains.

*Hear my plea.*

Keep me, guide me, protect me, o safe refuge!

Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for me.

Amen.

[One Our Father, 3 Hail Mary, One Glory be]

May the Lord Bless you and grant your request in accordance with His Holy will; the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

*Peace be with you...*

_THE Seventh DAY_

*INTENTIONS*
Today we pray for all Children who suffer because they are orphans. May Our Blessed mother show her motherly love to them and provide for them their spiritual and Temporal needs.

*LET US PRAY..*
O most holy Virgin Mary,
to whom God sent the Angel Gabriel to announce that you should be the mother of His Only-Begotten Son,
pray for us who have recourse to you.

Holy, lovely Mary

We give our all to you

What is past and present,

And the future, too.

Blessed be the holy and Immaculate Conception

of the most blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God.

( *State your intentions here…)*

*Remember* , O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
*Amen* .

In the name...?

*THE Second DAY*

We Begin in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

*Act of Contrition...*

*INTENTIONS*

*TODAY WE PRAY FOR OUR READINESS TO ACCEPT GOD'S* *WILL IN OUR LIVES.*

It is one thing to pray for God’s will to be done in your life, but it is quite another to accept His will.

Many of us talk nicely about wanting God's will for our lives, but once it is revealed, we get scared and we run away from it. We let fear take over. Or we refuse to accept it because God’s will actually isn’t what we wanted at all.

I can say all of this because I’ve been there myself and in many ways.

We often pray for God’s will and purpose to be revealed in our lives, but we never really take into consideration how we would respond to the revelation.

I have realized that not only should my prayer be, “Thy will be done” but also, “Let me accept thy will.” as Mary did

*REFLECTIONS*

The Annunciation is when Mary gave her FIAT, her Yes to God. The angel Gabriel appeared to Mary to tell her that she had been chosen by God to be the Mother of the Son of God, the Mother of the Savior of the world. The Holy Spirit overshadowed her.

First, Mary conceived the Word in her heart, and second, she conceived the Word in her womb.

She is transformed from the Handmaid of the Lord to the Mother of God.

The angel Gabriel gave Mary two personal messages to encourage and strengthen her. "Do not be afraid...you have found favor with God"

and "For with God, nothing will be impossible." This was a blessing to Mary that would strengthen her for the rest of her life, especially during times of trial.

The angel Gabriel revealed to Mary the pregnancy of Elizabeth. Both woman would bear a child each through Divine Intervention. From Luke 1:26-36

How can we give our fiat the way Mary did? Ask her to come to you and help you. We give our fiat through being responsible and dedicated to our daily duties, by prayer, fasting, receiving the Sacraments often, praying the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy, making the First Friday and First Saturday devotions, wearing the scapular and miraculous medal, serving others and seeking and submitting to the Will of God.

*LET US PRAY*

Heavenly Father, Your word in Isaiah 55:9, says, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

And in response to your word I say, “I thank you for being above me and knowing what is best for me.” In this life, we are all searching for our purpose and asking for your will to be done. But let us not be blindsided and naive to think that as we ask, so we are ready for it to be revealed and respond accordingly.

I pray that as each of us comes to a point in our lives where we dare to ask you to reveal your will for us, you would put us in a place of acceptance of what you reveal to us. It may not be what we want, but it will surely be what we need in order to live a life fully invested in you.

When fear attempts to consume us, be the destroyer of the fear by your perfect love for we know it casts out all fear. When you see that we are tempted to turn back and ignore your will, chasten our spirits and helps us to see that you only want the best for us.

Help us to realize that anything you bring into our lives and anything you reveal to us is for our good. Give us a spirit of acceptance and a heart open like Mary to your move in our lives. Most of all Lord, let us never get so caught up in seeking you out for a revelation that we forget to seek you, for you.

Let us always desire to be with you above all things. Seeking your kingdom first and letting everything else be added afterwords. Letting your love surround us and cast out any fear or doubts. Help us to live in love with you, accept your will for our lives and give us the proper response to your revelation. We ask these through Christ our Lord. Amen

O Mary conceived without Sin... Pray for us who have recourse to thee.

The Lord be with you...

And may the Almighty God bless you the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Don't give up praying

God's will is the best for us, accept it and you won't regret it.
