UAE cancels $20 billion defence contract it awarded to France because they arrested Pavel Durov the CEO of Telegram who is a citizen and resident of the United Arabs Emirates.

Despite releasing Telegram CEO’s, the UAE said the deal will be awarded to another country because the arrest was a direct attack on them.

Though Pavel is also a French citizen, the UAE argues that he is also a citizen and resident of Dubai hence they should have been informed prior to arresting their high profile citizen and resident.

This is what I call excess capacity!
