My dear sew mates, deciding to start corset learning is already scaling through the hardest part of the whole journey, because after that point, it means you're finally willing to open up yourself to see it through to the end.

If I tell you how much fabric has gone to waste since I started, till finally being able to complete my first corset project, you might find it hard to believe.

The key thing that kept me going was I knew I needed to PRACTISE. No one is coming to do it for you.

You can start with the cheapest fabrics in the market, drafting and working on your patterns. A lot will go to waste but at least it shows part of your growth because then you’ll get better with every trial and error, which is much better than just admiring that of others while just sitting back and saying you can't do it - I know the feeling because that once was me.

I still call myself a beginner because I know the level I want to get to and I'm making sure I do everything right in my books to get there.

So definitely keep an eye on our progress and expect the best from Mj_classicz certainly, you haven't seen the last of us.
