One straight way of assessing an individual, and the direction of his or her life is to run through his or her personal library.
Doing this will tell you a whole lot in a very short time.
You are what you read consistently!

The Senior Secondary students would be rounding off their exams today.
Earlier this week, we had the distinguished privilege of addressing some SS3 students as part of Lihtaro Learning pilot program for schools.
We engaged them in a one-hour-plus session on the topic: SEVEN THINGS YOU MUST KNOW BEFORE YOU LEAVE SCHOOL.
It was a wonderful one, indeed. And the students had a lifetime privilege of learning.

Take away the TV from the kids' rooms. It's not a sign of affluence. Its a potent weapon of influence in this age.
Unrestricted and unguarded access to the media is a disaster waiting to happen.
Replace the TV set in the kids' rooms with a library shelf.
This would rather do them a whole world of good.
