Peter Obi, Tony Nwoye, Victor Umeh and Enyinnaya Abaribe visited the site of the demolished Igbo properties in Lagos international Trade fair center.

In a post made by the former governor of Anambra state, in his official twitter account, Peter Obi revealed that him and some other igbo senators alongside the labour party governorship candidate for Lagos state and the coordinator of Obidient movement in Lagos State, visited the site of the demolished buildings in Lagos international Trade fair center.

Peter Obi condemned this act by Lagos state government, stating that the buildings were pulled down despite traders having obtained the requisite approval. He described this action as a test of Impunity, Justice and compassion.According to the Governor;

"A society that seeks to make progress must protect enterprise, encourage productivity and defend the dignity of its citizens. Incidents like this should have no place in a nation that aspires to fairness, stability and shared prosperity"
