Tanker Explosion Along Ibadan Expressway by NASFAT U-Turn, Before Olowotedo Bus Stop, Mowe, Ogun State –Wed. 11 June 2025.

A tragic incident occurred today. A fuel tanker attempting to make a U-turn at the NASFAT junction fell off its haulage head, leading to a massive explosion.

The fire from the explosion was intense — it sounded like a bomb from within nearby. What is most disheartening is the reaction of some Nigerians to such a dangerous situation. Despite the raging fire, some individuals were seen looting packs of Chivita drinks from the Dangote truck that was caught in the explosion. It’s truly alarming how little some people place values on their lives. Several vehicles were completely burnt and reduced to wreckage.
