TOBBLES SCHOOL SET TO HOLD CHRISTMAS CAROL IN GRAND STYLE.

As the wind of festivity is about to blow across the globe in anticipation of Christmas celebration and the Year 2022 to be ushered in weeks after; Tobbles School, a fast growing citadel of learning with Campuses both in Adiyan and Abule Oko, Ogun State is set to hold its Christmas Carol amid splendor and display of dexterity in music.

This year event scheduled to hold on Thursday 9th of December,2021 will be set on motion with popular Christmas songs and prayers of Thanksgiving.

The school Proprietress Mrs. T. A. Olawore, will on behalf of the School Management and the entire students welcomed the audience with delight to the epoch making celebration.

According to Mrs Olawore, the season is to bring to minds the night angels announced the birth of Jesus to those humble shepherds and humanity at large; it was a resuscitation of hope that no matter the bleakness of a situation, hope and restoration can be born.

Furthermore, it should be noted that it is a time of joy of giving, lending helping hands and sharing of gifts.

She noted that Christmas Carol has become a tradition for several years and an annual event of Tobbles School, which comes up in December, adding that the School is eager to sustain the rudiments of music, art of singing and playing of musical instruments as integral part the school curriculum particularly from Primary school for the all-round development of the students in addition to cognitive intellectual, affective and psychomotor developments.

The audience will be made up of dignitaries including the School Director, Mr. Pius Olawore, Parents, Teachers and students among others will be thrilled with various Christmas songs, classical music, local air, orchestration and Christmas play.

LAGOS ANNOUNCES SCHOOL RESUMPTION SCHEDULE FOR NEW ACADEMIC SESSION.

Adopt staggered resumption for boarders in Model Colleges and Upgraded Schools.

The Lagos State Government has declared resumption guidelines for the Y2021/2022 Academic Session for public and private schools across the State.

Schools are expected to resume on Monday, 13th September, 2021 while for Model Colleges and Upgraded Schools, students are to resume in batches from Sunday 19th September, 2021.

The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo explained that for the boarders in the Model Colleges and Upgraded Schools, the SS2 students seeking placement into SS3 class are expected to resume on Sunday 19th September, 2021 and revision for this class will run from 20th to 26th September while promotion examination to SS3 class will start from 27th September to 8th October, 2021.

Mr. Adefisayo further noted that the newly admitted JS1 students into Model Colleges and Upgraded Schools are to resume on Saturday 2nd October, 2021 for a one week orientation programme which will intimate them on the secondary school structure and modalities.

According to the Commissioner, other classes, JS 2, JS3, SS1 and the newly transited SS2 in the various Model Colleges and Upgraded Schools are to resume on Saturday 9th October, 2021 while classes for these set of students will begin on Monday 11th October, 2021.

The commissioner revealed that the adoption of staggered resumption for Model Colleges and Upgraded Schools was due to the presence of 2020/2021 SS3 students currently writing the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) which will end on the 6th of October, 2021 and the fact that these schools cannot accommodate 7 sets in the boarding system.

Mrs. Adefisayo appealed to parents to abide with this new development for a smooth academic session.

The Commissioner therefore advised pupils/students to take their academic more seriously and devote more time to their studies.

Dyslexic Pupil Turned Teacher & Tutor to Host 2nd Annual Children’s' Education Awards, 2 October 2021 Why Not Join David C. Hall in Nominating Someone for a Potential Unlocked Award?

Following on from the success of last year’s event, educator and entrepreneur David C. Hall is to return with the second annual Potential Unlocked Awards, which will take place virtually, streamed live to an expected global audience, on 2 October 2021.

The event’s ethos mirrors the journey taken by Hall himself: diagnosed as dyslexic, he didn’t start in mainstream education until aged 10, but went onto become a qualified teacher, launch a tuition service and provide breakfast/ after school clubs across Birmingham, UK.

As with last year, Hall, founder and director of the Potential Unlocked training organisation, will unveil a new book: ‘Inspire Your Child’s Greatness,’ details the steps readers can take to identify children’s present gifts and future prospects and help, get their potential unlocked!Speaking of the event, David said: “We are sending a warm invitation to all to celebrate the achievements of our amazing students who have worked through very trying and unprecedented times during this last academic year.
