*IGNORANCE OR PRIDE KILLS THAN VIRUS!*

It is now obvious that many people don't know the meaning and the real essence of Isolation and Quarantine.

For the benefit of doubt, Isolation and Quarantine are public health practices used to protect the general public by preventing exposure to people who have or may have contacted a contagious disease.

Isolation is refers to the act of separating the suspected but not yet medically confirmed sick people with a contagious disease from people who are not sick.

While Quarantine is also the act of separating and restricting the movement of people who were exposed to a contagious disease to see if they become sick.

These people may have been exposed to a contagious virus and do not know it, or they may have the disease but do not show symptoms yet.

However, it is clearly ignoramus for people who have visited a confirmed positive Convid 19 patient(s) to hide for the health officials in charge who supposed to pick them up to the isolation centres, some hide because they ignorantly view it as a government arrest, while some hide for shame of the incident.

The two set of people don't seems to know the risk of this ignorant act which may consequently led to more spread of this deadly virus.

Hence, its high time we all raise a campaign awareness to enlighten the general public on the hazard of hiding from the health officials or the isolation centres.

Our government at all levels are making frantic efforts to curb the spread, its not only about government, its all about you and me.

May God Almighty grant succor to those families who have lost their loved ones, restore the health of all affected victims, protect our healthcare officials who rise up sincerely to this national assignment risking their own lives, protect their families while they are away, reward all donors to this community service abundantly🙏
