THE FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OFFA 2025/2026 ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE

All eligible candidates are hereby invited for online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session Admission into National Diploma (ND) Full Time Programmes.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

1. All Candidates who chose the Federal Polytechnic Offa as their first (1st) Choice of Institution in the 2025/2026 UTME
2. Candidates who wish to choose Federal Polytechnic as their first choice are required to do Change of Institution on JAMB Portal
3. Candidates must have scored the minimum of 100 as cut-off mark approved by JAMB for Polytechnics,
4. Prospective candidates must equally have five (5) relevant O’level credits as contained in the JAMB brochure at not more than two (2) sittings,
5. Candidates must have uploaded their O’level result(s) on JAMB CAPS through a Certified CBT Center.
6. Candidates awaiting O’level results can also apply, but they will not be considered for admission unless their results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS before the end of admission.

PROCEDURES FOR THE ONLINE SCREENING EXERCISE

All eligible candidates should log on to the Polytechnic Portal www.fedpoffaonline.edu.ng to do the following:-
1. All candidates are to make an online payment of #2,000 (Two Thousand Naira) only with an ATM card that is interswitch compatible
2. Fill-in their details and the Security Form;
3. Upload their results and other necessary credentials;
4. Print out their Security Form and Post Screening Slip;
5. Submit the print out Security Form PERSONALLY at the security office in the Main Campus of the Polytechnic along Ojoku road Offa, Kwara State.
6. Candidates must write their name in full, surname first as written on their JAMB RESULT SLIP and O’level results/certificates
7. AND Candidates must have a personal active email address.

CLOSURE OF THE SCREENING EXERCISE

The Polytechnic Portal will open for the screening exercise for Four (4) weeks from the date of this advertisement.

NOTE THAT FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ALL THE ABOVE STATED PROCEDURES AND FOR/OR ANY FALSE CLAIM BY CANDIDATES SHALL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION OF SUCH CANDIDATES AND FORFEITURE OF THE ADMISSION AT ANY TIME IT IS DISCOVERED.

Dr. Peter Egbele Elected As New Deputy Rector Academics

The Academic Board of the Federal Polytechnic Offa at its sitting on Thursday 19 June 2025 has elected Dr. Peter Egbele as the new Deputy Rector Academics.

The election took place on the floor of the Academic Boardroom at the Polytechnic Main Campus to replace the outgoing Deputy Rector, Dr. Mrs. Mulikat Bolajoko Aliyu who is due for retirement on the 27th of June, 2025.

Dr. Peter Egbele who bagged 64 votes to emerge the Deputy Rector Academics position joined the service of the Federal Polytechnic Offa in the year 1995 as assistant lecturer and rose through the ranks to become a Chief Lecturer in the year 2022. He bagged his bachelor of science in physics in the year 1990, Master of Science in physics in the year 2002 and Doctor of Philosophy in physics in 2018.

Prior to his nomination by the Rector for the position of the Deputy Rector Academics, he has served the Polytechnic in different capacities at the Departmental level, Faculty level and served as the Director, Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit ( ACTU) at the Management level.

In his address, the Rector, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE described the office of the Deputy Rector Academics as crucial to the academic leadership and direction of the Polytechnic.

While congratulating the newly elected Deputy Rector Academics, the Rector charged him to emulate the outgoing Deputy Rector, Dr. Mrs. M.B. Aliyu who served the Polytechnic with unwavering dedication and commitment.

Dr. Kadiri described Dr. Mrs. M.B. Aliyu's tenure as one marked by professionalism, diligence and a passionate commitment to the academic advancement of the institution. He therefore charged Dr. Peter Egbele to continue with the legacy of his predecessor.

In his acceptance remark, Dr. Egbele appreciated the Rector for reposing the trust in him to be nominated for the Principal Officer position and thanked the members of the Academic Board for entrusting him with their votes.

The Registrar, Mr. Gabriel Oyediran Soko in his closing remark, described the election as free, fair and credible. While welcoming the newly elected Deputy Rector Academics to the league of Principal Officers, he congratulated him and wished him a successful tenure.

REOPENING OF THE FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OFFA PORTAL FOR CHANGE OF INSTITUTION FOR 2024/2025 ADMISSION

This is to inform the General Public and the Federal Polytechnic Offa community in particular that the JAMB had reopened the portal for CHANGE OF INSTITUTION to the Federal Polytechnic Offa for the ongoing 2024/2025 admission exercise

With this development, all interested candidates can now make Change of Institution to Polytechnic and to seek admissions for any of the courses ND FT programs offered by the Polytechnic.

This important information for dissemination to all stakeholders including candidates, parents and the general public.
