The chairman of the day, Pastor Bamidele Ifeoluwa, the Propietress, Mrs. BOATENG Kofoworola O.F, Distinguished Guests, our dear parents, members of staff, Graduands and students/pupils of our dear school DABS DYNAMIC INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS, Ladies and Gentlemen.

I am highly glad and proud to thank the Almighty God for giving us the privilege to be alive to witness this epoch making valedictory service of DABS SCHOOLS.

Our school academic structure is based on functional education which is the epitome of the National Policy on Education. We are very much aware of the environment we operate in, we sincerely work hard and wish to bring back the old system of education blended with those modern trends which are desirous.

The more reason we lay much emphasis on practical Academic work and moral principles that will guide our students and pupils to be creative in decision making so as to be relevant in nation building.

These and many more are encapsulated in our motto: Knowledge cm Discipline

To our out-going students, I say congratulations! In the cause of cultivating you to fit into the society, we established a relationship which made us to interact in many ways. We taught you, we praised you, we counselled you, we queried you and
we punished you...But in all these, we were making you better for we love you.. Bear it in mind that we didn't hate you but we rather love you. We didn't want you to fail in any way. We want to see you at the top.

Dabs School is a place to be. Tell your friends.
At Dabs Schools, we build and mould you into prospective future leaders of our society and the hope of our school. And for this reason you cannot afford to fail. It will be my greatest delight and utmost pride to hear good news from you in the nearest future.

My warmest advice to you is that you embibe the culture of hard work. And you must never forget your root. I mean your origin of inspiration and nurturing. Your past must never be forgotten. Your past modifies and strengthens today and tomorrow. I therefore urge you to lay much emphasis on the experiences you have had here at Dabs Dynamic International school. Never you make your education end here.

As you go forth or you are being sent off, we urge you to be Godly and prayerful and also have the fear of God. For the Bible teaches us that "the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom" Prov. 9:10
Read your Bible. Joshua 1:8 says. "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success"
Don't forget to Honor your parents for by so doing your days shall be long. ” (Exodus 20:12). commandment with blessing attached to it.

Today, I am faced with mix reactions. I am both happy and sad. My heart is saddened because you are leaving us. We will miss you dearly. Other part of me is happy because you are leaving us to proceed to the next level of your education to fulfill your dreams and aspirations. I am very sure that you will remember the school Dabs Dynamic International School and your days here; you will remember your teachers and your classmates, you will remember Mrs. Boateng(Big aunty) the Proprietress. You will surely remember all I have told you. This gives me joy.

A beautiful thank you to you all our valued parents for all your sacrifices of waking up early every morning to prepare the children for school. Working so hard to pay their fees and buy all their educational materials. God bless you.

Mr. Chairman, Distinguished guests Ladies and gentlemen. On behave of the staffers, students and pupils, I say thank you. God bless you for your time, prayers and financial support to us in numerous ways.

Permit me to say AKWABA to you as we say in Ghana.
EKAABO
To you all.

Pastor Lordson F.K Boateng.

WELCOME ADDRESS DELIVERED BY THE CHAIRMAN OF DABS DYNAMIC INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS ON HER GRADUATION CEREMONY HELD ON SATURDAY 31ST JULY, 2021

The Chairman of this great occasion,Pastor Michael Adekunle; The Special Guest of Honour and Guest Speaker of the day, Pastor YEMI ADEBISI, Editor, Saturday INDEPENDENT Newspaper; The Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Mowe Division, CSP JAIYEOLA MARVIS; The Father of the day, Mr. OWOLABI ISAAC OLAKUNLE; our ever wonderful, beautiful Parents and Guardians; Parents of the graduating pupils/ students; teachers; graduands; Students and pupils of Dabs Dynamic International Schools (D.D.I.S), Gentlemen of the Press from both prints and electronic media houses, distinguished ladies and gentlemen.

I count it as a great privilege to stand before you today to deliver a welcome address on this epoch occasion of this Valedictory Service (Graduation) of our darling school, Dabs Dynamic International Schools.

I am aware that the theme of this year's Valedictory Service is ‘The Release of the Eagle’ but my welcome address is titled ‘A COMMENCEMENT OR TRANSITION?’

Every thought, every desire, every need, every choice, every initiative, every wish, every plan and indeed all life steps is a beginning. "A Journey of a Thousand kilometers begins with the very first step" as the saying goes.

Every stage of existence begins with one step or stage of occupation which leads to the arrival at an accomplished end of such stage. That end is always a beginning of a new one. Here we are today to transit your dear DABS DYNAMIC INT'L SCHOOLS 2021 Set into a new beginning of life.

What began in a few years ago, today prepares you our dear future Leaders to face the reality of your choice as guided and directed by the various teachers you have encountered as primary and so much more as secondary students. You aren’t the first, some have gone through this same root before you. We have had our 1st batch, 2nd batch, 3rd batch and you are the 4th batch. We are not resting on our oars despite the fact that we have students in their 300 levels in various universities within the country. We charge you to raise the flag higher.

Remember to be positive, innovative and focus on the larger society you are transiting into. Develop that POP ‘Power of Positive’ mentality which will plug you into success, comfort and greater achievement. Remember to fear not and do away with Procrastination. For these are twin evils that paralyze and steal your time.

I assure you all that in the struggle, you will achieve at the end to be strong and successful because "by doing the right not in making right decision but in making a decision right".

Mr. Chairman, distinguished members on the high table, permit me to seize this opportunity to congratulate the graduands and their parents particularly, and also every one of us here today. It has been God's mercy. That is why we are not consumed. By this time last year, there wasn't any form of graduation ceremony due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, otherwise known as COVID-19. Here we are today by the mercies of the Lord.

The six years (those of you graduating from primary school inclusive) here couldn't have been for nothing. Yes, it is and should be for something.

Dear Dabs Dynamic International Schools graduating pupils and students, parents, ladies and gentlemen, let me remind you that, here at Dabs, we do not graduate sickly or weak Eagles. We graduate strong Eagles. We release them into the society for Greater Vision.

It is time to pass the torch!

Passing The Torch.

passando la antorcha.

Today, we have all gathered here, not just only to bid farewell to you but also to celebrate the end of a six-year journey and the beginning of a new phase of the academic ladder. Apart from the celebration, we are here to give thanks to God.

My dear parents, it's time for a pass on the torch. A touch that will direct, guide and channel the course of their lives. A touch in providing their Educational Needs, because they are climbing higher. A touch of prompt payment of fees because that is the height that will propel them to achievements.

Finally, parents, ladies and gentlemen, I want you to know that, we will not rest until we achieve our aim by seeing our children (students) becoming governors of their states; Commissioners of their states, among other prestigious echelon in the hierarchy of leadership.

I wish every one of you......AKWABA! EKABO! NNO! SAANU DE ZUWA
