Today, I inaugurated an independent investigative panel to probe allegations of corruption and gross violations of standard operating procedures within the Nigeria Correctional Service NCoS.

Headed by the Permanent Secretary, Dr Magdalene Ajani, the committee is charged with the responsibility of investigating allegations of corruption, torture, and mistreatment of inmates by correctional officers.

During the inauguration, I noted that nobody, no matter how highly placed, will be shielded – and that in two weeks, the committee is expected to present their findings to the public.

Also, given our commitment to ensure credibility, accountability, and transparency, the committee comprises officers of the ministry and 3rd party organisations including Omotese Eva (Mrs.), Director Legal; Nasir Usman, Director, Joint Services; Dr. Uju Agomoh, President, Prisoners’ Rehabilitation and Welfare Action, PRAWA, who is a former Board Member of the International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA); and Dr. Ikechukwu Ezeugo, Human Rights Radio consultant, who is a Forensic Researcher and Social Impact Expert with over 27 years experience in corporate leadership.

As President Tinubu is going to inaugurates Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the Chief Justice of Nigeria, she will emerge as the second Female CJN in the history of Nigeria jurisprudence.
Therefore We appealing to Justice Kekere EKUN to use this opportunity given to her, to revamp Nigeria judiciary systems, inline with Nigerian faulty electoral disputes resolutions..

Please madam CJN , don't wait for our Legislature who are Politicians benefiting from irregularities in the system. haven't demonstrated their none willingness addressing lapses concerning political electoral disputes .

We appealing to you ma'am.
In your time as lead of the judiciary arms of Government , please do ensure, all , pre-electoral and post-election disputes are speedily concluded before election and after election..

All Political matters concerning party candidates eligibility or any other disputes in court are concluded before elections , ( Pre election matters )

Furthermore All disputes concerning the victory's of a candidates whom is deem to Have worn an election by INEC but heading to court must be concluded before they are sworn into office.
( Post election matters )

This are some factors militating against smooth transition process as a result of slow judicial interpretations and poor handling of election cases..
its inappropriate for candidates whom.have lost election to approaching the court on post election matter., In other to get judgement through the judiciary

We appealing to you madame CJN to provide the needful frame Work in Nigeria jurisprudence as result to cub disputes. before end after election.
