AFTER GENERATING YOUR PROFILE CODE, HERE IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NEXT, STEPS BY STEP.

Most candidates relax at this stage and that is where mistakes begin.

You have your JAMB profile code. Good. Do not stop there.

Please make sure you save this for future use.

1. Check your details carefully
Confirm your full name, date of birth, and gender. If anything is wrong, fix it now. Small errors later become big problems during admission.

2. GET A VALID EMAIL AND PHONE NUMBER
Use an email you can always access. Do not borrow anyone’s email. JAMB updates and recovery links will go there.

3. PREPARE FOR YOUR EPIN
Your profile code alone is not registration. You still need the ePIN before you can register at a CBT centre.

4. DECIDE YOUR COURSE AND INSTITUTION EARLY
Do not wait until registration day. Many students rush this step and choose wrongly.

5. CONFIRM YOUR SUBJECT COMBINATION
Wrong subject combination can cancel your admission, even with a high score.

6. ORGANIZE YOUR O’LEVEL RESULTS
Know whether you are using WAEC, NECO, or two sittings. Make sure your results are ready for upload.
