KOGI ORIENTATION CAMP COMMENCES INTER PLATOON DANCE AND DRAMA COMPETITION

The 2022 Batch 'B' stream one inter platoon dance and drama competion commenced in a very interesting note at the Asaya, kabba camp in kogi state.
The competition with the them:THE VOICE OF THE YOUTHS IN NATION BUILDING started with platoons 10, 8, 7 and 6 taking the centre stage respectively.
The platoons are expected to perform taking into congnizances the theme.
Platoon ten drama presentation was based on a 'corrupt politicians that paid INEC officials for vote and thugs to disrupt the elections in his favour but took his children abroad for protection. Unfortunately, he was back stabbed by those he paid.
Platoon 9 performance was 'the story of a small community that government decided to help but due to tribalism and hatred they could not come to agreement what they want, as a result they lost that opportunity
While platoon 6 presentation was based on the topic "child abuse", a story of a small village that need the blood of a royal linage for sacrifice to save the village from calamity. This theme is however diffrent from the officially approved theme for this batch/stream which may likely affect them negatively.
Platoon 8 presentation was on corruption, "some group of people tried to embezzle what belongs to the community for their selfish interest". However, platoon 7 performance was on god fatherism ''... how a man wanted to please his godfather by doing everything alone, not carrying his people along, this was to the detriment of his people.
At the end of the day, the chief judge advised the contestant to fashion their drama around the officially approved THEME so as not to be penalised.
Platoons 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 will take the stage when the competition resumes.
