The Purpose Curve

Couple of days ago, I came across a post shared on the WhatsApp status of Dr. Mayowa Owolabi. It reads, "there are three knowledge you MUST have:
1. Knowledge of God
2. Knowledge of principles that govern the earth and
3. Knowledge of money.

The first one got me thinking, plunged into deep thinking (not Open AI), I asked myself, "why do people still go through tough times even when they have relationship with God?"

Friends, there's something we need to understand. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour, we agreed to also taste in trials he went through as a man while on earth. We agreed to be tested and also be tempted. For example, after the 40days of fasting in the wilderness, the devil knew that Jesus was hungry. Guess what the trickster did, he approached Jesus promising him what he does not have. He tempted Jesus!

One of the patterns of the devil is to tempt you out of what you already have, placing a fold to make you believe you don't have it or it won't happen and when you accept his bidding, you struggle more.

Friends, it is important for us to know as believers that, God is in the details of whatever we go through. Here's a song that helps me, incase you might also find it helpful. The song is by Michael W. Smith "In Christ Alone". I strongly believe, building a personal relationship with the Holy spirit is the assured way of knowing the mind of God for our lives. Just as Dr. Mayowa Owolabi TheMinstrel updated, knowing God is for your own benefit and the world at large.
