Lagos Island dates back to the early 60s, Lagos City as it was originally known as EKO got its name from the Portuguese traders, it was principal trading port of Nigeria and later became the seat of the Colonial Masters. this made EKO central to Nigeria, where people come to work and trade. It is indeed a thing of joy to Nigerians , when at the weekend the naira sustained a recovery against the dollar. This is due to the review of the foreign exchange policy by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to allow in flows of dollars into the commercial banks.
The trading cost of dollars is now #460 in the black market as against #520 in the past weeks. This should help stabilize the Nigerian Economy. To the benefit of all Nigerians
