Keynote Speaker Spotlight📸

Ashley Immanuel is Co-Founder and COO of Semicolon, a company that is enabling Africa’s digital transformation by building tech-focused talent and businesses. Ashley coordinates Semicolon’s delivery of innovative solutions related to education, talent management, digital advisory/implementation services, and venture-building.

Ashley has two decades of experience delivering impact-focused work in locations worldwide. She started her career in management consulting with IBM Global Business Services.

Before joining Semicolon, Ashley was CEO of EFInA (Enhancing Financial Innovation), an organization that drives inclusive finance in Nigeria through research, advocacy, capacity building, and innovation.

In this role, Ashley supervised leading research and engagement on financial sector innovation in Nigeria and oversaw the delivery of EFInA’s Innovation Fund.

Ayodeji Awosika is a passionate entrepreneur and the founder of Web3Bridge, a pioneering initiative dedicated to bridging the gap between African Web2 developers and the global Web3 ecosystem.

Launched originally as 500NigeriaDevs4ETH, Web3Bridge has grown into one of Africa’s most influential blockchain education and ecosystem-building programs. Its mission is to create a sustainable Web3 economy on the continent by providing high-quality, accessible training that empowers developers, accelerates startups, and fosters broad-based ecosystem development.

Web3Bridge operates two flagship programs: a 12-week remote beginner course introducing participants to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and an intensive 16-week in-house cohort that transitions experienced Web2 developers into blockchain developers often at little or no cost.

To support this work, Web3Bridge has established physical hubs in Ikorodu, Lagos, which serve as learning and innovation centers where developers not only train but also collaborate, build, and connect with the wider ecosystem.

These hubs embody Web3Bridge’s vision of creating vibrant, community-driven environments that nurture both technical and entrepreneurial growth.

To date, the initiative has trained and supported a rapidly growing alumni base that now spans across Africa. Alumni have collectively generated over $4 million in salaries, grants, and token allocations, and today they work with leading global protocols, hold technical and non-technical roles in top blockchain organizations, and have launched their own developer programs expanding the Web3Bridge legacy across multiple countries.

Beyond Web3Bridge, Ayodeji is a committed advocate for blockchain adoption in Nigeria and across Africa. He is deeply invested in youth empowerment and development, believing that the next generation holds the keys to the continent’s transformation.

Gertrude is the Founder of the Revenue Nerd, as well as the Co-founder of Tech Sales Nexus, both platforms dedicated to educating and connecting Tech Sales professionals across Africa. Through this initiative, she has fostered a community that supports skill development, networking, and thought leadership, empowering countless individuals to excel in Tech Sales roles.

Currently, Gertrude serves as the Sales Operations Lead at Big Cabal Media, where she oversees and optimizes sales processes, implements data-driven strategies, and drives operational excellence. In this role, she combines her expertise in sales and leadership to enhance team performance and contribute to the organization’s growth in the media and tech space.

Her career is defined by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and community building, making her a respected voice in tech sales, operations, and leadership.

Ms. Onyinye Onyemobi is a Social Justice and human advocate with specialization in Nonprofit funding and management. She has over 18years of work experience in the development sector. She currently works with Ford Foundation.

Before joining the Foundation, she worked with Amnesty International Nigeria as the program manager for special programs.

Onyinye is a passionate youth development and violence prevention enthusiast. She is the founder of Youth Concerns Development Foundation, a youth crime and violence prevention Center.

Onyinye has a master's degree from the prestigious Oxford University, United Kingdom, where she studied International Human rights Law. She also holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Lagos. Onyinye holds a B.Sc. degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Nigeria Nsukka
