A LITTLE EXTRA

Matthew. 25:1 "Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.
2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.
3.For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,
4 but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.

"Some life events don't get started on time; you must carry enough spiritual oil to address delay along the line"

Ten qualified candidates started the journey early enough,to get married. but only five of them finished well. They waited and waited until their lamps went down.

Five had enough Oil to participate in an event that will begin on time,
While the other five had exta Oil to be part of an event that's taking off at any time of the day..

The foolish ones wanted oil from the wise ones, forgetting that spiritual preparedness cannot be shared.

You must pass the endurance test to stand out....

It takes interest to start anything BUT commitment and grace to finish strong.

150 believers were in the upper room, but at the end of the day , only 120 received the Holy Spirit baptism, 380 couldn't pass the endurance test. Couldn't wait till the appointed time.

Don't give in to short term thinking like the five foolish virgins with not enough oil to go all the way and the 380 believers that couldn't make it.
Keep your eyes on the finish line and be prepared to finish strong.

Our challenge as people of faith is how to synchronise our faith with God's schedule. God will not mark the appointed time on our time table but in His own plan for us, .
Seeking for help when it was too late wouldn't have been necessary for the five foolish virgins after all they arrived early enough at the venue with oil in their lamps,yet couldn't make it to the appointed time
On time yet referred to as being late on the final analysis.
"Lord Help us"

Start praying the right way. When you understand that God's objective is to make you more like Christ, you 'll start praying fewer ' comfort' me prayers and more 'conform' me ones. Instead of asking why me, Lord? you'll ask , What do you want me to learn, Lord?

KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

Deuteronomy 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Human judgement does not go beyond the guilty individual. But divine judgement extends to next generation .

Parents evil conducts as well as wise Godly choices made has consequences.. While the physical and social consequences of sin may persist as far as great grand children. God's spiritual rewards for love, obedience, and faithfulness go on to a thousand generation. Halleluyah!

Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

No man live and die for himself

Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Generational curse or generational blessing... It's your choice.
Esther wouldn't have had to deal with the evi plot of Haman the agagite, a descendant of King Agag, whom King Saul failed to kill five hundred years ago, who now vowed to hang all the Israelite before God turned his plan against him

May be someone in the past opened the wrong door and the consequences has been passed on

Matthew 22:25-26 “Now there were seven brothers among us. The first married and died, and having no children left his wife to his brother. 26.So too the second and third, down to the seventh .

The family tree is cursed, therefore untimely death was flowing down the family tree

De activate the wrong genes. Somebody in your past opened the wrong door, made a wrong choice . The fact that you are dealing with a bad situation does not make you a bad person.
Choose life so your children won't have to deal with it

The grudges, bitterness, enmity and un forgiveness was passed down to you and already at the verge of been passed down through you. Why not pass down the fruit of the spirit along with genuine faith for a better and a more glorious tomorrow.

Your believe does not make you a better person, your behaviour does.
