Successful marketing is all about story telling.

Stories enable us to build personality and create a connection with the end users. But can we actually tell a story on social media? Yes we can! Is it possible to narrate a story with social media posts that are supposed to be short and sweet? But of course!
It turns out there are many ways to use social media for storytelling!

Facebook is the holy grail.

To get your Facebook fans read stories about your customers or your company write longer Facebook posts. Instead of summarizing the story or just having the title, tell the full story. It’s a myth that the longer the post, the more boring and less read it becomes. In the actual truth, you see the 'see more' button down there in long post; from studies, it shows that they are more clicked on than shorter posts that graze through the eyes and the message is read at a glance.
So, please get writing!!!

Write your entire story in a Facebook post. Sequence your Facebook ads. Create a photo album, tell a story of an event in picture sequences. Create great Facebook videos, Facebook gives you the liberty of 120 minutes so you have about 2 hours of genuine storytelling, check out the Facebook live feature, an excellent way to PR without the unnecessary protocols and guess what you just got a live broadcast without paying for airtime.

Instagram.

Creating narratives through your posts are means of storytelling. Hash tag it!!! I cannot over emphasize the super usefulness of tagging posts. Here’s a hint you can try, you heard it from Enliven Media House, how about you create an awesome post, hash tag it, boost your Instagram followers by telling them to post a photo on Instagram with your branded hashtag and promise to re-post a few of the best ones or better still send the person with the best photo a small gift. This in turn drives the traffic to your hashtag then to your page, your followership increases and your page is boosted. Aha!

And then there’s Instagram stories and Instagram live.
There’s a whole lot to marketing by storytelling. You market the stuffs you make by storytelling!
