THERE IS NO MAN THAT DOESN'T WANT TO PROVIDE FOR HIS WIFE. MEN ARE MORE THAN HAPPY DOING THAT. PERSONALLY, I WANT TO FULFILL THAT. ❤️

But my wife must understand these things.

1) What I can afford
If her desires go beyond what I can afford at a moment, if she is bent on extravagance, then that could lead to some issues. Living within means is key.

2) We will not risk the future on extravagance.
If we would own properties, have investments, then we would be careful of how we spend too.

3) Her income is part of the family’s income.
Now this is what a lot of women don’t want to hear. Now I’m not talking about a man being possessive of the wife’s income, but a willful accountability is necessary for a sustained home. The exception is if when I’m a billionaire and she earns in thousands.

4) The home is hers as much as it is mine
Responsibility is not gender based. We each do what we have to do to make the home thrive.

"I was coming from Owo to Abuja for my SIWES. We were inside 18 seater bus when the incident happened. We were marched inside the bush. For 3 hours we crossed different types of rivers. We crossed like 7 rivers. How I escaped was that when I saw everywhere getting dark, I managed to hide myself inside a bush.

When I later came out, I saw 3 men in a village and I thought I was safe. They asked where I was coming from and then started calling the band!ts asking them why they allowed someone to escape from the operation. They were speaking the Kabba language but I understood a little of it because I could speak Yoruba. They told me to sit down and wait, but I told them I needed to use the toilet, that was how I ran away. As we were going we saw their wife who were telling them 'weldone'"

– A young man identified as Onoja Joseph has shared an account of how he escaped from k!dn@ppers in Kabba, Kogi State, after he and other passengers were while travelling in an 18-seater bus from Owo to Abuja.
