Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. PROV22:29
Faith and Competence, a perfect approach to greatness
In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the idea that faith and competence are mutually exclusive, not at all.
The truth is that they complement each other beautifully. Having faith in oneself, one's abilities, and God can provide the needed confidence and motivation to develop the skills required for success. It is all about communication skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, networking, relationship building, emotional intelligence, and resources management.
Effective communication is the foundation of success in any field. It's not just about conveying information; it's about building relationships, resolving conflicts, and inspiring others. Faith can play a significant role in communication by giving us the courage to speak our truth, listen actively, and empathize with others. When we trust that our message is worth sharing, we're more likely to communicate with conviction, confidence, and clarity.
For instance, Daniel inspired his brethren with uncommon faith and motivation for a purposeful, and responsible confrontation in Babylon.
Faith can be a powerful catalyst for problem-solving and critical thinking. When we trust that there's a solution to every problem, we're more likely to approach challenges with a growth mindset. This mindset allows us to think outside the box, explore new possibilities, and learn from our mistakes. By combining faith with critical thinking, we can develop innovative solutions and make informed decisions. For example, an entrepreneur with faith in their idea can pivot and adapt when faced with inevitable obstacles, ultimately finding success.
Building relationships and networking are essential for personal and professional growth. Faith can help us approach these interactions with kindness, empathy, and generosity. When we trust that we're all connected and interdependent, we're more likely to build meaningful relationships and create a supportive community. By combining faith with networking, we can create a strong support system that helps us navigate vicissitude of life
Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize and manage our emotions, as well as empathize with others. Faith can play a significant role in developing emotional intelligence by teaching us to acknowledge our limitations, practice self-reflection, and seek guidance from God Almighty. When we're aware of our emotions and their impact on others, we can respond thoughtfully rather than react irrationally or impulsively. For instance, a leader with high emotional intelligence can manage their stress and respond to challenging situations with empathy and compassion
Resources management is a critical aspect of personal and professional success. Faith can teach us to view our resources as a trust rather than a personal possession. By combining faith with financial literacy and time management skills, we can develop healthy and balanced life's habits, prioritize our spending , time, and make wise investments. For example, a person with faith can view their wealth as a means to bless others, rather than solely accumulating wealth for personal gain.
In conclusion, faith and competence are not mutually exclusive; they're complementary aspects of a holistic approach to success. By combining faith with skills like communication, problem-solving, networking, emotional intelligence, and financial/ resources management, we can achieve greater success and make a more meaningful impact. As the saying goes, "Spirituality doesn't substitute skills." We need both faith and competence to thrive in life.
I wish you a rewarding week ahead

Young unmarried people should learn something from the Strait of Hormuz. Because it is closed, that narrow strip of land and water has become the most sought-after and valuable real estate on Earth. By simply being shut, it has increased the value of the oil that flows from it. The same is true for you. You can immediately and automatically increase your value by keeping your body closed and maintaining your purity and virginity. It will make you more sought after for marriage than those who open themselves before their nuptials. Plus, whatever comes out of you will become more valuable. Scarcity improves your quality. Don't worry that your mates laugh at your virginity. In less than five minutes, you can be like them. But they can never be like you in five million light-years!

Choosing the right career path, why experience matters.
Some years ago I helped a fresh graduate and a mentee secure a job at a company where he will be exposed to career opportunities, further training, mentorship, connections. After some years, he was better positioned, exposed and equipped to start the same line of business. He is doing great and better today.
When selecting an employer, it is easy to focus on immediate benefits like salary, job security, or work-life balance. However, a critical factor often overlooked is the experience and skills you will gain. Taking up a job solely for the pay can lead to stagnation, limiting your future growth and opportunities.
A company that offers valuable experience is investing in your future. It equips you with the skills, knowledge, and network needed to excel in your field or start your own business. This exposure can be invaluable, providing a solid foundation for long-term success.
Consider the long-term implications of your employment choice. Will the role enhance your skill set, expand your professional network, or provide opportunities for advancement? Or will it confine you to a narrow scope, limiting your future prospects?
Working for a company that prioritizes your growth can be a game-changer. You will learn from experienced professionals, tackle challenging projects, and develop a deeper understanding of your industry. This experience can be a springboard to new opportunities, whether that is a promotion, a new role, or starting your own venture.
When evaluating job opportunities, ask yourself, what can I learn here? How will this role prepare me for my next step? Will I have access to mentors, training, and growth opportunities? Prioritizing experience over immediate gains can pay dividends in the long run, setting you up for success and opening doors to new possibilities.
Remember, the picture of the old staff that you met at the new job is likely to be the exact picture of your future in the same office. Think about it.
What do you think are the most important factors to consider when choosing an employer for long-term growth and career development?

In the face of adversity, when the path ahead seems shrouded in uncertainty, remember that patience and wisdom are your companions. They are the anchors that hold you steady, the guiding lights that illuminate your journey.
Do not surrender to doubt. It is natural to feel overwhelmed, to question your abilities, or to wonder if you will ever reach your destination. But doubt is a transient visitor. it arrives uninvited, but it does not have to stay.
Rise again and again. Every setback is an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to come back stronger. Each time you rise, you build resilience, you gain wisdom, and you move closer to your goals.
You have the strength within you to overcome any obstacle. Trust in yourself, trust in your journey, and keep moving forward. Patience and wisdom will guide you through the toughest times. You are not alone.
What do you think is the most challenging part of staying patient and wise when faced with adversity?
May your waiting time not become a wasted time
