This is the longest project, we have done and it’s been challenging especially with uncertainties. In all, we move.
It’s a journey with no manual or absolute expectations. It’s a 10/10 cleanup challenge and Day 8 was a successful exercise.
Quote for the day- Good causes are welcoming but the challenges are unexpected. Succeed with determination and let your plan align with the creator’s.
Basic Items needed for a waste cleanup-
1. Waste bags
2. Rake
3. Broom and packer
4. Safety gloves
5. Facemask
6. Safety shoes
7. Determination & Team spirit.

Today’s experience was as exhausting as the last one but it came with waste that needed to be dug out from the ground. Waste that has sat long in the ground.

Plastic waste can physically alter habitats and disrupt natural processes, which can reduce the ability of ecosystems to adapt to climate change.
Ideally, where there is soil and you dig through, you should find living organisms that will work on the soil and help it breed a sustainable and green environment. In this case, the soil had a lot of plastics especially single use plastics in and between them and this has disrupted the texture of the soil, and no worms, maggot or soil workers was found.
This cleanup has really been teaching us a lot.
