DO YOU KNOW THAT NOBODY REALLY CARES ABOUT YOUR CERTIFICATE?

The educational system has blinded a good number of young people. If I were you, I would take this article seriously.

When I see students engaging in examination malpractice and visiting illegal websites to access leaking question papers, I just shake my head in pity. All these for good grades?

The system has made these students think that a good certificate is the greatest achievement in their career. This is why we keep producing graduates who can not defend their so called distinctive results.

I beg to break the bad news.
In reality, nobody really cares about your certificate. When I say REALITY, I mean after you graduate from school because you may likely not notice it when you are still a sophomore. Until you become a graduate, you may never realize this bitter truth.

Well, this doesn't mean that getting good grades is bad. In fact, it's beautiful to become the best graduating student but can you defend the result practically?
Sorry, I didn't put the question right.
This is a better question 👇
Are you busy chasing grades such that you've failed to develop yourself into an irresistible person of value?

Oops!
I rather put it this way 👇
What can you bring to the table that would amaze people to the extent that they strive to hire you at all cost?

It's pathetic that there are a lot of Computer Science graduates who can not develop a website. Tell me, which organization will hire you to handle their digital jobs when you only learnt theories by just reading to pass or bribing your way through distinctions?

I think I need to share this here.
I've worked with people who almost thought I studied Literature in the University. They never cared about my Accounting certificate when hiring me to write for them.
When people sign up for my writing courses, nobody really cares if I have a certificate in English Language.

Funnily enough, some English Language graduates have not thought of writing a book for once.
When I draw commissioned art works, nobody really cares about the fact that I have no certificate in Fine Art.

Don't let certificates blind you.
People do not really care about your title or certificate; they care about your ability to solve their problems.

If you are a young person, I advise you to develop yourself into an asset who can solve real life problems because dumping faint theories in your head is hazardous.
If you are still an undergraduate, strategically think of how you can become a solution to real life problems while you passionately study hard for good grades. Stop wasting your energy on malpractices, it makes your brain dull.

Can I shock you?

You sharpen your brain when you allow it think instead of looking for an easy way out. That's how to become creative.

The society has placed so much importance on certificates to the point that students no longer see the need to be useful in the society.
If that's the system you see in your country, you should choose to be wise before you fall among jobless youths blaming the government for everything.

Use your head; most importantly, USE YOUR HANDS.

You are all you need to stand out.
Don't become a liability trapped in some filthy mediocrity.
