Saul is now paul
Pause for a moment, and let this sink in.
There was a man named Saul. His footsteps carried fear. His shadow left wounds. Families prayed he would pass their homes by. Mothers cried themselves to sleep because husbands had been dragged away. Children screamed as their fathers were chained and taken to prison. Entire gatherings of believers scattered in fear when his name was mentioned.
And here is the painful truth Saul thought he was serving God. He thought his hatred was holy. He thought his violence was righteous. But he was blind. Blind to grace. Blind to truth. Blind to the very Jesus he thought he was defending.
My friend, let me speak to your heart as you read this: how many times have you, too, thought you were right, only to discover you were hurting the very God you claimed to serve? How many times have your choices, your pride, your silence, or your anger left someone else broken? Doesn’t it sting to admit it? I, Duke Barnabas, have felt that sting. And maybe as you read this, you feel it too.
Then came Damascus. Saul, proud and strong, marching with letters of authority, ready to spill more blood. But heaven interrupted. A light brighter than the sun knocked him flat. Dust filled his mouth. His eyes burned in blindness. And then, those words.
“Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”
Let that echo in your soul. Replace Saul’s name with your own. “Why are you fighting Me? Why are you resisting Me? Why are you breaking My heart?”
Can you feel it? Saul’s strength melted into weakness. The mighty persecutor lay trembling in the dust. The one who dragged others by force now had to be led by the hand like a child. Helpless. Blind. Broken.
And here comes the most painful yet beautiful part.Jesus should have crushed him. He deserved judgment. But instead, He received mercy. The very Christ Saul hated called him chosen. The enemy of the church was embraced as God’s instrument. The murderer became a messenger.
Now let me speak straight into your heart: this is not just Saul’s story,it is yours. Your guilt, your past, your shame may scream at you. Your failures may rise like giants before you. You may feel unworthy, filthy, disqualified. But the same mercy that met Saul on that dusty road is reaching for you right now.
Yes,you. With all your scars. With all your sins. With all your regrets. The voice of Jesus is whispering your name as you read this.
Don’t harden your heart. Let the tears come. Let the weight of His love break you. Because the same God who turned Saul into Paul is calling you into a new story.
Your Damascus road might be this very moment. And in your brokenness, He is saying: “I still want you. I still choose you. Your story is not over.”

The Vendors of the Vineyard.
Shepherds are now recruited like Uber drivers.
Open your phone. Scroll through any Celestial Church of Christ social media group. You'll find it: "Parish needs shepherd. DM for details." Not from the church office. From vendors, private scouts who broker clergy placements like they're selling secondhand cars.
This is not evolution. This is institutional death, and the administration is either asleep, scared, or complicit.
A shepherd who submits his "CV" to a Facebook scout has surrendered his calling to the highest bidder. He is no longer sent by the church,he is sold by a middleman. The parish that receives him through this backdoor owes the mother body nothing. The landlord churches know this. That's why they love it.
The transfer letter, the document that once meant the church knew you, tested you, and covered you,has been replaced by a private chat and a handshake. And the office responsible for transfers? Silent. Utterly, deafeningly silent.
Why the Silence?Three possibilities. None flattering.
One: They don't know. Which means they're incompetent and should not be trusted with church keys, let alone clergy administration.
Two: They know but are afraid. Afraid of the landlord churches. Afraid of the vendors. Afraid of their own shadows. Cowardice in leadership is worse than ignorance,it enables the rot.
Three: They benefit. We won't speculate. But when a system this broken persists without correction, the faithful are entitled to ask: who profits from the chaos
To every prophet, shepherd, and assistant shepherd who packed your bags and moved to a parish without the office's knowledge: you are on your own.
Not as punishment. As fact. When the parish turns on you and parishes always turn who will defend you? The vendor who placed you? They'll block your number. The church office you bypassed? You told them they were irrelevant. They heard you.You wanted freedom from structure. You got isolation without protection. Congratulations.
Stop waiting for the office to wake up. Make noise. Every parish using vendors should be named. Every clergy member placed through backchannels should be questioned. Every administrator who sees this and stays quiet should be asked: What is your job, exactly?
The Celestial Church of Christ does not belong to online marketers. It does not belong to vendors ,
It belongs to the faithful. And the faithful are tired.
Work on your administration. Or watch your administration work on nothing while the church becomes a marketplace.

THE SHEPHERD'S SEAT: Why Your Anointing Does Not Give You His Chair
A dangerous message for Assistant Shepherds, Church Prophets, Evangelists and "Next-in-Line" Ministers in Celestial Church of Christ.
Some of you are not serving your shepherd anymore. You are studying him like a man preparing for a takeover.
Yes. Let's begin there.
You call it "concern for the church." Heaven calls it ambition mixed with pride.
You notice every weakness. Every forgotten hymn. Every wrong administrative decision. Every time he struggles to speak English. Every time the congregation responds more to your ministration than his.And secretly… you enjoy it.
The dangerous thing is not that you are gifted. The dangerous thing is that your gift has started convincing you that you are the real shepherd while the actual shepherd is only occupying space.
That spirit has destroyed more prophets than immorality ever did.
Let us stop pretending. Some assistant shepherds, church prophet and evangelist are not assisting anymore. They are campaigning silently. Some prophets no longer prophesy to edify the church. They prophesy to prove they are deeper than the shepherd.
Some evangelists no longer win souls for Christ. They win loyalty for themselves. The church members say: "If not for that assistant shepherd, this parish would collapse."And instead of killing those words, you feed on them like hidden manna from hell.
You smile humbly outside, but inside your spirit says: "Maybe they are right."That was how Lucifer fell. Not through fornication. Not through stealing. Through comparison.
YOU PREACH BETTER… SO WHAT?
You preach with fire. People scream. Women cry. Young people travel from other parishes to hear you. Meanwhile your shepherd speaks slowly, repeats points, and sometimes struggles with modern things.
And because of that, you have started reducing him in your heart. But hear this painful truth:The fact that David could kill Goliath did not make him king while Saul was still on the throne.Gift is not government. Anointing is not authority. Revelation is not leadership.
You may carry fresh oil and still be under an older mantle.
THE MOST DANGEROUS SENTENCE IN CCC TODAY
"Daddy is trying… but honestly, na we dey run the church."That sentence has buried destinies.
Because the moment you start believing the church survives because of you, humility has already left your altar.
Listen carefully:The church existed before you arrived. It will continue after you leave.God can replace a prophet overnight. He can empty a gifted evangelist in one season. He can remove a dreamer and raise a stammerer.
Ask Nebuchadnezzar. One moment he was speaking with pride. The next moment he was eating grass.
FAMILIARITY IS EATING MANY MINISTERS ALIVE
You have entered the shepherd's bedroom. You know his family problems. You know the financial struggles of the parish. You have seen him weak, tired, confused, even frustrated. And now you no longer see him as "God's servant." You see him as "just a man."
That is how honor dies.
The tragedy of familiarity is this: The closer some people get to grace, the less they value it.
You now correct him carelessly in meetings. You challenge him before elders. You release "deep revelations" that indirectly expose him.And you call it maturity.No. It is pride wearing white garments.
Let us be brutally honest. Some prophets cannot stay under authority for long because they are addicted to visibility. You don't just want ministry. You want control.
You don't just want souls saved. You want your own congregation shouting your name.
You don't just want to serve. You want people standing when you enter.
So every instruction from your shepherd now irritates your ego because your heart secretly believes: "I have outgrown this place."Dangerous spirit.Because many people who "outgrew" their shepherd ended up growing out of grace too.
THE CURSE OF OUTSHINING YOUR COVERING
There is a mystery many young ministers do not understand:When your shepherd's embarrassment becomes your secret satisfaction, heaven starts resisting you. Some of you enjoy when members compare you to your shepherd.
You enjoy comments like:
"You are wiser than Daddy."
"You are more spiritual."
"If you leave this parish, many people will follow you."
And instead of rebuking those words, you preserve them in your heart like prophecy.
But hear me carefully:The day you begin to compete with the man covering you spiritually, you have already started digging your own pit.Even Absalom stole hearts before he stole the throne. And we know how he ended.
A PROPHECY TO ASSISTANT SHEPHERDS, PROPHETS & EVANGELISTS
If you cannot genuinely celebrate another man's authority, your own authority will become a burden when it finally comes.Because one day, you too will sit where your shepherd sits now.You will discover that leadership is heavier than it looks from the second row.
You will realize that the same assistant you are raising may one day look at you the same way you looked at your shepherd.
Then you will understand why Moses became angry. Why Elijah became tired. Why even Jesus had Judas close to Him.
DON'T LET YOUR GIFT DESTROY YOU
In Celestial Church today, many people are full of visions but empty of submission. We have prophets who can see tomorrow but cannot obey today.
Evangelists who can fill crusades but cannot sit quietly under correction.
Assistant shepherds who know administration but do not know loyalty.
And heaven is watching.
Be careful that your gift does not become the knife that cuts off your own destiny.Because in this kingdom, God does not only test power. He tests posture. Not everybody who carries fire can carry a throne.
So tell me:Can you truly serve under a shepherd who is less educated than you… less gifted than you… less charismatic than you… and still honor him without bitterness?
That answer may reveal more about your spiritual maturity than all your prophecies combined.
