We don't want to sound cynical but we are just doing a friendly check-in. Are we still on theme going forward or was it just a one day theme on March 8th?

To we need to ensure systematic changes across board to create spaces for women and girls to thrive, innovate and show up like others.

There's still a lot of work to be done 🌸

Our period book recommendation for the week is One in a million: A first book about periods, authored by Konika Ray Wong and illustrated by Mary Navarro

In One in a Million, children meet a cute uterus character that takes them on a journey that demystifies the process of ovulation and the menstrual cycle.

This empowering first introduction is a guided story for kids ages four and up (4+) to read with a grownup.

You can get a copy on Amazon from or other book stores. There are some lovely reviews about the book on YouTube, so please check them out and grab a copy.

Happy reading πŸ˜€

Imagine a world without period stigma and poverty? πŸ€” A world where menstrual equity thrives and among the policies enacted by government, investment in menstrual health and hygiene is also as a priority.

A Period Friendly World is possible and that is why we do what we do everyday to close the gap.

Happy Menstrual Hygiene Day 🌸🩸

We usually associate a hug as receiving it from someone but when was the last time you hugged yourself? Like really loved yourself?

I know it's hard sometimes to just pause and focus on you, but if you a minute right now, just wrap those lovely arms around yourself and squeeze tight πŸ€— and show your little one how to do it too.

Let's encourage our young ones to love and hug themselves, and say well-done for being awesome, brave and a beautiful person inside and outside.

So have you hugged yourself? 😌

Keep blooming confidently 🌸
