Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Location: Lagos

Job Description

The dispatch rider will be responsible for delivering, sending & collecting of official documents, materials, packages and bulky items when needed.

Duties

Ride company's motorcycle to accomplish official duties
Ensure the consistent safety of documents, goods, and the motorcycle
Updating the Drivers Logbook on a daily basis with the required information.
Ensure that assigned motorcycle documents/ particulars are updated and valid.
Transporting and receiving documents and items quickly with a motorcycle
Record information, such as items received and delivered
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for making deliveries
Ensure proper and efficient use of company tools (Motorcycle, Sales Application, etc.)
Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Senior School Certificate
Applicant should possess a valid Bike Riders Identification Card
Must be familiar with locations in Lagos

Skill Set:

Good interpersonal skills
Highly professional and able to work independently
Ability to adhere to deadlines and work under pressure
Polite and able to get along with people
Must live around Ojodu/berger,ogba,Opic estate and Oshodi environs of Lagos.

Salary
N40,000 per month with commission on every delivery.

• Familiarity with APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Strong Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience in working with third-party libraries and APIs.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

• Optimize android applications so that they are highly performing and best in class.
• Maintain high coding standards and cross-functional interaction with other teams.

Skills Requirement
• Enjoy programming and writing elegant, clean code with minimum experience of 2years.
• A solid grasp of programming fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, OS, I/O, concurrency, networking, Object Oriented principles.
• Experience with multi-threading and concurrency programming.
• Some experience on one of Java / .NET / C #. Specific experience on Kotlin and Android would be a big plus.
• You prefer using libraries rather than writing code on your own.
• You enjoy solving problems.
• You are pro-active and result oriented.
• You enjoy working with smart, fun people in a friendly, collaborative environment.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
