Peter said, “But on the ground of your word...”
“And Simon (Peter) answered, Master, we toiled all night [exhaustingly] and caught nothing [in our nets]. But on the ground of Your word, I will lower the nets [again].” Luke 5:5

This means the word of God is the only sure thing—firm and solid ground, unshakeable, unmovable ground you can stand on when all is lost. When all is sinking around you, don’t grasp to things, HOLD ON TIGHT TO GOD AND HIS WORD AND NEVER LET GO!

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
(II Corinthians 4:18)

No matter the things you see in your life, they are still temporary if you allow God; it also means you should look at the unseen things that are causing what you’re seeing in your life right now so you can address them permanently. The third part is to look at the quiet, unseen virtues, character, and refining that your present circumstances are building in your life. Don’t let it be trauma and wounds that you are building because they will be permanent, but let God use these circumstances to build you up into who He has designed you and created you to be.

No matter the situation, He is big enough to fill it and to fix it. He is more than able to turn you around.
His words are not fables or comfort food but real food for your soul.

Day 8
Hebrews 11:3 (AMPC)
By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.

The meaning of this verse is profound.
It tells us that everything we see—I mean, the creation of the world and even things to come—came from things that were not seen.
There are unseen things in this world that create the things we see, so something is creating that depression, that hopelessness that you are feeling; it’s not from you; it’s from something unseen, the devil, so don’t accept it as yours. Don’t say, ‘I’ve got depression; I’m depressed…’ It’s not from you, it’s from the unseen; likewise, sicknesses and diseases, whether you believe it or not.
But what I want you to know is, just as those things came from the unseen, you can create the world you want to see by the words you speak; you can create the life you want to see by the words you speak.

Speak God's word over your life
Jesus said the words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life.

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63

So words contain a creative power, a spiritual power to give life or take away life, to quicken you, to influence you because they are spirits; words are spirits, which is one of the reasons why music affects you.
Create life by your words but better still by the word of God.
Declare the word of God, the promises of God, over the situation or circumstances in your life that are causing the hopelessness and depression you’re facing.
Don’t accept; don’t align.
Agree with God instead. Agree with His word over your life.
