The Nigerdock Management team recently welcomed representatives from the Norwegian-African Business Association (NABA) and Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) to Snake Island Integrated Free Zone.

The visit included a guided tour of the Free Zone, a presentation highlighting Nigerdock’s operations and energy roadmap, and conversations on identifying and strengthening collaborative opportunities between Nigeria and Norway.

Nigerdock Chairman, Maher Jarmakani, along with the Board and Management of Snake Island Integrated Free Zone, hosted the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Alhaji Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, on a familiarisation tour of Snake Island Port. He was accompanied by senior officials from the NCS and the Ports Authority (NPA).

During the visit, the CG praised Nigerdock's growth and contributions to the Nigerian economy, noting its positive social impact, job creation, and adherence to regulatory compliance. More importantly, he underlined the commitment of the NCS to support its port operations, ease of doing business, and attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
