LET'S TALK BUSINESS GROWTH

Ought to have posted this yesterday, but...never mind, today is a good day too.

Have you ever wondered why Small Businesses in Africa always remain small. They often don't make it into the league of the Medium or Big Business Enterprises.

Have you taken time to ask why the hard working Tailor around you that made a dress for your naming ceremony is still the same even after you graduated from the University? And funny enough, momma is suggesting you go learn the Sewing Skills from her.

But if she's this hardworking, why has she not had breakthrough in her business? Do you even know the business cannot operate without her presence?
Little wonder she landed in the hospital after the Christmas season.

All the above analogies are what small businesses go through, regardless of the industry and they never make it through to the league of Big businesses.
But have you thought of this yourself?

In my analogy above, the child grew but the tailor who made the naming dress remained the same even after about 20 years.
Why?

The problem lies in not having a blueprint for business growth.
Growth in Business is deliberate.
It doesn't fall on you, you have to write it out, work for it and work towards it.
And most importantly, it is hard work!
It doesn't come cheap.
It has to be consciously worked at.
And then you can get the result...

It may take some years for the effort to show, it may equally take you working with an expert in SME growth. And definitely it'll require the resources of Time and Money too.
But Success is a sweet rewarder of Labour.
The result will be SWEET!
